Fox has cancelled its science fiction crime drama "Almost Human" after only one season.
Entertainment Weekly reports that the series, which stars Karl Urban and Michael Ealy as two cops, one of whom is a robot, struggled with ratings on its Monday night schedule.
The site claimed the show's last few episodes had averaged 5.6 million viewers and had a 1.5 rating among adults ages 18 to 49.
"Almost Human" took place "In a not-so-distant future" where "human cops and androids partner up to protect and serve."
The series debuted on Fox on November 17, 2013 and also starred Minka Kelly, Mackenzie Crook, Michael Irby and Lilli Taylor.
