Former The Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky is closing the door on one chapter of her life.

"Ali is not going to be returning to E! News in the fall," a representative for the host and TV personality told Us Weekly.

As to whether it was Fedotowsky's choice to leave the job or that of E! News executives, the representative confirmed "it was a mutual decision."

It's unclear what Fedotowsky's next professional move will be, as her rep offered no comment on her future plans.

Fedotowsky, 30, joined E! as a correspondent in 2013. She hosted Live From E!, covered red carpet events and conducted many interviews for E! News.

Fedotowsky first competed on The Bachelor's fourteenth season for pilot Jake Pavelka's heart. She quit the series in Week 6 in order to maintain her job in sales for Facebook.

Fedotowsky then went on to star on the sixth season of The Bachelorette during which she got engaged to Roberto Martinez. They split, however, in November 2011 -- which was about 15 months after her season finale aired on ABC.
