Ali Caldwell is a force to be reckoned with on Miley Cyrus' The Voice team, and she has what it takes to win it all.

On Monday night's episode of the "Battle Round," Ali was matched up with Courtnie Ramirez for an epic performance of "Hit Or Miss."

Miley ultimately chose to keep Ali on her team because of her powerhouse vocal delivery and overall style. However, Courtnie wowed with her "rockstar energy" as well and ended up being stolen by another coach, Alicia Keys. Now both talented artists are headed to the "Knockout Round."

On Tuesday, Ali talked to Reality TV World about her experience thus far on the show.

Reality TV World: Did you have a strategy or certain approach going into the "Battle Round?" And how did being a four-chair turn in the Blind Auditions play a role in that?

Ali Caldwell: Well first off, I'm super grateful and feeling very fortunate. I just know one thing; any time I've been a part of something, any time that I set foot on that stage, I want to make sure that I'm doing what I love -- performing.

I love singing. I think [that's] the only thing that goes through my mind. I don't think of it being a competition or, you know, winning. It's more of us just doing what we love. Like, we're all here, you know, because we have a huge love for singing and performing and being an artist.

And I think that is what's going through my mind as we get further in the competition -- you know, as far as the Blinds and the Battles go. I just make sure that I keep the love of music on my mind and make sure that I just keep continue doing what it is that I love to do, which is performing.

Reality TV World: Would you say you were very confident going into your Battle or particularly nervous?

Ali Caldwell: When you're thinking about it before it even happens, there are little butterflies of nerves. But for me personally, when it's time for show time, my nerves automatically switch to more anxiety. Like, I'm very anxious to make it happen and to, you know, prove to my coach that I deserve to stay.

That's basically my mindset on it. It's more so anxious than nervous -- and excitement to even be on such a big platform as The Voice. Because you only get to do this one time. So, I look at it as, "Make the best out of it and get these nerves out of here," you know?

Ali also talked to reporters during her post-Battle conference call about her team adviser and newfound fame.

Tell me about what it was like to have Joan Jett serving as your adviser?

Ali Caldwell: It was pretty amazing. I would say that I was pretty shocked. Well, for one, growing up -- I'm going to be honest -- she really wasn't someone that I listened to.

But, you know, now that I'm older and I know who she is and I know her songs that she came out with and her big hits, it was kind of surreal to be able to meet her and be in the same room with such a legend that she is.

I'm definitely going to be super excited to, you know, hold that memory whenever in the future that I definitely was able to sing in front of Joan Jett. That was a major moment for me and I'm never going to forget it. Pretty cool.

Has being famous really sunk in yet? Are people recognizing you from The Voice now?

Ali Caldwell: Well, I have not actually experienced it because I live in New York and The Big Apple is like -- you really don't know how many people actually watch the show until you're actually walking around the city. And it's definitely happened to me before and it's pretty cool.

It's a beautiful feeling. It's kind of shocking because, you know... we just don't believe it or think it's that big of a deal until it actually happens. And that's basically how I was feeling about it.

I didn't think that anybody would recognize me yet, but it has happened and I'm actually excited about it moving forward. It's pretty cool, you know, living in New York. I'm just so excited to represent New York, and it's beautiful when you see people who live out here actually watching it and supporting the show and, you know, supporting us all as we follow our dreams. It's just amazing.
