Alexander Skarsgard and Kate Bosworth reportedly split after 2 years

Alexander Skarsgard and Kate Bosworth have broken up after dating for about two years, UsMagazine.com said Wednesday.

The couple acted together in "Straw Dogs," a remake of the 1971 psychological thriller of the same name.

The film is due in theaters this September.

"It was very mutual," a source told UsMagazine.com of the split.

"And it happened a while ago."

Bosworth's film credits include "21," "Beyond the Sea" and "Superman Returns."

Skarsgard is a cast member of TV's "True Blood."
