A decade and 30 million albums later, Alanis Morissette is giving us another "Jagged Little Pill."

"Jagged Little Pill Acoustic" is an unplugged take on the Canadian-born singer-songwriter's third album, a 1995 blockbuster that has sold more than 30 million copies worldwide and won four Grammy Awards. Morissette says she got the idea after hearing her record company was considering a straightforward re-release of the album to mark its 10-year anniversary.

"Friends would jokingly say to me, 'I think whoever wants a copy of that record has one,'" says Morissette, who became a naturalized U.S. citizen earlier this year. "I've been doing acoustic versions of these songs for the last 10 years, and I thought it would be great to just go in the studio and record some of them and even come up with some new versions of them on the spot. So that's what we did."

"Jagged Little Pill Acoustic" is being sold exclusively at Starbucks stores until late July, when it goes into wider release.

Morissette recently started an acoustic tour to promote the album.
