Airing versus Red Sox/Yankees ALCS Game 7, 'Survivor: Pearl Islands' still draws 19.35 million viewers

Last night's ratings reconfirmed what anyone visiting this website probably already knew -- Survivor fans are diehard viewers.

Despite airing versus Game 7 of the dramatic Red Sox/Yankees League Championship game, CBS's Thursday night broadcast of the fifth episode of Survivor: Pearl Islands averaged 19.35 million viewers, less than a half a million viewers below its season average of 19.72 million viewers.

With a last minute Friends repeat airing on NBC, Survivor: Pearl Islands won the 8-9PM time period in adults 25-54 (9.0/22) and adults 18-49 (7.4/20) while placing second in households (11.5/18) and viewers.

A 9PM repeat episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation averaged 13.8/21 with 21.61m viewers, second in households, viewers, adults 18-34 (5.9/16), adults 18-49 (7.6/18) and adults 25-54 (9.7/21). Closing the night for CBS, a 10PM repeat episode of Without A Trace (9.4/15, 13.89m viewers) retained 92% of its first-run broadcast last season in viewers and attracted +2.30m more viewers than a rebroadcast of ER.

For the night, CBS was first with women 25-54 (9.7) and women 18-49 (7.8) and second to baseball in viewers (18.31m), households (11.6/18), adults 25-54 (8.1/19) and adults 18-49 (6.5/16).
