Actress Sharon Stone disrupted filming in London to fly to the United States to meet her child born to a Texas surrogate mother.

"Sharon has paid to have a surrogate carry her baby and it was born on Tuesday in the U.S," a source told the Daily Mail.

Stone, 47, named the baby Laird Vonne Stone. She already has an adopted son, Roan Joseph, 5, with her ex-husband Phil Bronstein.

Stone had been due to film scenes for the 1992 "Basic Instinct" sequel, titled "Risk Addiction," at the Atlantic Bar and Grill in London this week.

David Morrissey is her co-star, as Michael Douglas was not interested in resurrecting his role.
