ABC says bachelor of third 'The Bachelor' series will be rich and famous

Stop us if you've heard this before, but ABC says that in the upcoming third edition of it's "The Bachelor" series, the bachelor who'll be the target of twenty single women who'll be vying for his heart will be rich.. and famous too. Honest.

In a press release released Wednesday, ABC said "aside from having looks and charm," the star of "Bachelor 3" is "also the son of one of America's most affluent and prominent families." "A shocking idea, isn't it?" ABC Entertainment President Susan Lyne told The New York Post. Lyne would not disclose who the family is, but guaranteed that "the guy has a pedigree and you will recognize the family name."
