ABC has revealed the identities of the 25 bachelorettes competing for Ben Flajnik's heart on The Bachelor's sixteenth season, which will premiere on Monday, January 2 at 8PM ET/PT.

Flajnik will also get a surprise from Sheryl, a senior citizen who confesses she is madly in love with him for an undisclosed reason, and meet Lindzi, a bachelorette who arrives on horseback.
According to ABC, the competition to win Flajnik's heart heats up quickly during the initial cocktail reception, which will feature Shawn, a single athletic mom pulling him aside for a quick soccer game; Elyse, a personal trainer commanding him to complete pushups; Emily deciding to perform a rap she wrote for him; and Jenna, a New York blogger, breaking down into tears over early drama with fellow bachelorette Monica.
In addition, Flajnik will also present his first-impression rose to one lucky woman.
The premiere will conclude with Flajnik whittling his 25 bachelorettes down to 18 during the season's first Rose Ceremony.
