A&E Network says it is reviving the true-crime series.

The new version of the show will premiere on Feb. 27, with actor and humanitarian Danny Glover narrating. The first season of the re-boot will include 10 episodes.

"'Cold Case Files' remains one of A&E's most beloved and successful series of all time," Elaine Frontain Bryant, executive vice president and head of programming for A&E, said in a statement Thursday.

"The new creative team has infused the franchise with a rejuvenated approach to storytelling at a time when true-crime investigation is capturing the nation's attention more than ever."

The original "Cold Case Files" spanned 125 episodes and aired on A&E from 1998 through 2008.
