The reality show's fourth season will kick-off with a one-hour episode titled "Walk on Lake" -- in which Angel will attempt to walk on Nevada's Lake Mead, the world's largest manmade lake.

The debut will be followed by Criss Angel Mindfreak's first-ever live broadcast, which will air Wednesday, July 30 at 10PM ET/PT.

The one-hour special -- titled  "Building Implosion Escape" -- will follow Angel as he's shackled in a six-story building that is loaded with explosives and set to detonate.  He'll have to undo restraints and overcome physical obstacles to make it to a hovering helicopter on the roof before the building implodes.

Consisting of three one-hour specials and 15 half-hour episodes, Criss Angel Mindfreak's fourth-season will also see the illusionist get cremated alive, walk through steel and invite skeptics to be part of a deadly challenge where one wrong move could cost him his life.

Criss Angel Mindfreak premiered in Summer 2005 and its third season aired last summer.

Most recently, Angel starred alongside mentalist Uri Geller on Phenomenon, an NBC reality competition series that followed their search for "the next great mentalist."  Mystifier Mike Super took home the $250,000 grand prize during Phenomenon's finale broadcast last November.

Criss Angel Mindfreak is produced by Angel Productions Inc. and The Firm, with Angel, Dave Baram and Erich Recker serving as the executive producers.  Robert Sharenow and Elaine Frontain Bryant are the executive producers for A&E.
