90 Day Fiance: The Other Way star Deavan Clegg has revealed she actually met her new boyfriend Christopher "Topher" Park when she was still in a relationship with her estranged husband Jihoon Lee!

"The way I met Topher was I was flying to [South] Korea the first time back in November, it was right before I was filming. It would be the first time I met Jihoon's family," Deavan, 23, revealed in a lengthy YouTube interview with blogger John Yates.

"We were in LAX and we were transferring flights and we just happened to be sitting next to each other. We talked and on the plane... we connected."

Deavan continued, "When we got off the plane, it was just like, 'K, bye. Great talk.' You know? He was going to go see his ex-girlfriend and I was seeing my ex. So nothing there, we didn't swap numbers. None of that -- nothing like that."

Deavan and Jihoon have been shown working on their marriage on Season 2 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, but Deavan revealed in August she had moved back to the United States.

Deavan claimed "disgusting things" happened off-camera between Jihoon and herself and he had done "the most vile thing possible" to make her want to leave South Korea. Deavan also alleged Jihoon wanted nothing to do with their son Taeyang.

Jihoon then confirmed he and Deavan had split in August, which was around the same time Deavan started hinting she was in a new relationship by posting photos of an unidentified man on Instagram with his face cropped out.

Deavan and Topher eventually went Instagram official in mid-September when Topher posted sexy photos with Deavan on social media, and Deavan has been gushing about her man ever since.

In her interview with John, Deavan revealed she and Topher, a 27-year-old Korean-American actor, are coincidentally from the same town in California.

"A lot of people don't know that I lived in a different place before Utah. So we are both from the same hometown and we both had a mutual friend from that same hometown, and they were just scrolling through their Instagram and I popped up," Deavan said.

Topher apparently recognized Deavan on social media right away and decided to reach out to her.

"That was by the time I actually came back to America six months ago," Deavan said, before confirming she only spent eight months in South Korea with a few trips to the United States in between.

"And [Topher] just followed me and he's like, 'Oh my gosh, it's so crazy, I can't believe you used to be from this city.' And then we just started talking and having communication that way."

Deavan said she flew to Los Angeles, CA for her first date with Topher -- and their first date turned into a few days together.

Deavan recalled, "We spent the weekend together, a quarantine-date session" amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Once Deavan returned home to Utah, Topher visited Deavan three weeks later.

"We've just kind of been together all the time after that," Deavan shared.

"He's a great person. He's really kind. I don't want people to think anything weird; it was just a coincidence and it's really funny because we found out he was in New York as the same time as me, which was really crazy."

Deavan added, "And we didn't even know this, that we're from the same hometown, that we were on these flights at the same time, and we just think it's super crazy how the world works. We just like to think that the world was trying to give us a chance to meet but we just kept, like, walking past each other."

Deavan also said Topher is "so good" with her five-year-old daughter Drascilla from a previous relationship and 19-month-old son Taeyang.

"I am shocked. He's never had experience with kids, [but] he's a very calm human being. [He's like] my father Steve, they have very similar personalities when it comes to just being calm, cool, collected," Deavan gushed.

"When he met the kids, he instantly just fell in love with Taeyang and fell in love with Drascilla. They're always together and Taeyang is super attached to him. He'll never leave him."

Deavan said Topher asks her questions about parenting all the time and he's just "super great."

"He never gets angry; he's always just a happy and calm human," Deavan noted. "It's just so nice to have him here because he keeps us all at ease and helps us with all the tough stuff going on."

Deavan revealed Topher actually moved in with her after a short period of time of them getting to know each other.

"We do live with each other. It just kind of happened with like quarantine. It just felt right with just everything and we really thought about it, really talked about it," Deavan recalled.

"To some people, it may be really fast and we both can understand that. We've thought about everything and this is how we feel we should give it a shot instead of waiting two years and then finding out, 'Oh, it's not gonna work,' if that makes sense."

Deavan, however, said she totally understands the perspective that she rushed into a new relationship after her failed marriage to Jihoon.

"I can see that point of view completely, but... Jihoon and I both had been mentally out of love for a very long time, so that's also what helped us both move forward with future relationships because when you're both mentally were over each other for a long time, that's also a factor," Deavan said.

Deavan claimed Jihoon has blocked her and her entire family on every account and they'll handle things in court at a later date but she's not withholding Taeyang from Jihoon.

In addition, Deavan explained she's not even thinking about an engagement to Topher right now because she's "just trying to get divorced first."

Deavan split from Jihoon after about one year of marriage, and she confirmed in September she had filed for divorce but Jihoon was dragging out the process.

"Woke up to a lot of hate mail. I want to say this once: I've tried to get the divorce finished. Jihoon has not yet signed," Deavan wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time.

"I've been trying, so everyone leave me alone about that situation."

Deavan has made her breakup a legal matter because she alleges Jihoon had abused her daughter Drascilla when they were together in South Korea -- which Jihoon totally denied.

Jihoon, however, has wholeheartedly denied ever abusing Drascilla, whom Deavan previously described as "a wild child."

Jihoon insisted on social media he was just trying to discipline Drascilla and act as a co-parent.

Deavan and Jihoon will not be appearing on the Season 2 Tell-All of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, but Deavan revealed to Johnny she will be creating her own documentary or Tell-All for release in December 2020 or January 2021.

"It's going to show who we really are," Deavan said, adding that it will feature Topher as well.
