90 Day Fiance: The Other Way star Deavan Clegg has revealed the real reasons she decided to move to South Korea to be with Jihoon Lee and one of them is extremely shocking -- according to her, she fears for her safety from a family member has previously attempted to kidnap her!

"I noticed that the show never showed the reason why I moved [to South Korea]. I was waiting for the tell all but they never showed it. A lot of people are wondering," Deavan wrote Tuesday evening on Instagram, later adding, "I was in danger."

Deavan revealed during Part 2 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way's Tell-All special that aired on TLC on Monday night that she had decided to briefly leave South Korea because the cramped environment in which she was initially living -- the home of Jihoon's parents -- was not appropriate for raising their newborn son Taeyang and her three-year-old daughter Drascilla.

Deavan returned to the United States hoping Jihoon would secure an apartment for his family and save some money. She said she needed him to prove he could be a great husband, father and provider.

However, Deavan then also shared she had purchased plane tickets, including one for Drascilla, to fly back to South Korea in 10 days after the Tell-All taping, even though Jihoon had yet to get everything in order.

Deavan admitted Jihoon had previously lied to her, and Jihoon confessed he had been very selfish, but there seemed to be a part of the story that was missing.

"Jihoon can realistically move to America at anytime. But we decided to move to Korea so I could be a stay at home mom and raise the children. This wasn't an option in America until Jihoon could learn English," Deavan continued in her Tuesday Instagram post.

Deavan's statement then took a dramatic turn when she disclosed there was also another reason behind her decision to move to South Korea.

"As well I was in danger. And America became a very unsafe place for me due to a family member. This family member tried to kidnap me and steal my car while I was pregnant," Deavan wrote.

"This action is what made us fully decide to move to Korea."

In addition, Deavan explained, "My family member is a dangerous person. So I'll be in Korea for a long time. Because for some reason they keep letting her out of jail."

Deavan did not directly identify the female family member by name in her posting.

Deavan was a 22-year-old from Salt Lake City, UT when she met Jihoon, a 29-year-old mobile phone dealer from Seoul, South Korea, on a dating app.

The couple apparently talked to each other every day for three months before Jihoon made plans to travel to America and meet Deavan in person for the first time.

Jihoon's initial trip to South Korea was apparently a success and chemistry was definitely there because Jihoon and Deavan slept together and Deavan got pregnant with her second child.

Jihoon and Deavan found out they were expecting after six positive pregnancy tests confirmed their suspicions on the day he was leaving to return to South Korea in 2018.

After Jihoon returned to South Korea, the couple planned to get married. Not only did they love each other, but they thought it would be best for the baby for them to be together.

Deavan then visited Jihoon in South Korea for about a week in November 2018 to meet his parents, Hong Ju and Jung, to try to gain a better understanding of Korean culture.

However, Jihoon's parents apparently weren't happy when they found out she was pregnant because they viewed Deavan as an uneducated woman with tattoos.

"I don't know if his parents were avoiding me, but we never had time to sit down and discuss anything, so I never got their blessing. I just left Korea feeling like I'm not good enough for their son in their eyes," Deavan explained.

As shown on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Deavan eventually received a blessing from Jihoon's parents to marry their son, and so Jihoon popped the question during a subsequent visit to the United States. (At the time, Deavan was seven months pregnant).

Deavan later welcomed their son Taeyang in April and moved to South Korea once her baby was about seven weeks old.

Deavan, however, quickly learned Jihoon had lost his job, had zero savings, and had a criminal record.

Not only was Jihoon still living with his parents, but he was also in a lot of credit-card debt due to fines he had to pay for illegally buying and selling used phones.

Jihoon's "lack of financial responsibility" really worried Deavan, especially since he had nine months while she was pregnant to save for their family.

Jihoon told Deavan not to worry and their future would be bright, but Deavan was sick of hearing "trust me" and said she needed things to happen.

Despite their issues and Jihoon's childish ways, Deavan went on to marry Jihoon in South Korea, and Deavan has been sharing cute family photos on Instagram ever since.

Deavan also recently got pregnant again with Jihoon's baby and was expecting her third child. However, Deavan sadly announced on October 9 she had suffered a pregnancy miscarriage.
