90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' third season has been airing for over a month now on TLC.

But this isn't Angela and Michael's first rodeo. Angela and Michael, whose formal name is Kehinde Ilesanmi, previously starred on Season 2 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days.

Angela was a 52-year-old nursing assistant for Hospice from Hazlehurst, GA, when she met Michael, a 30-year-old from Nigeria, for the first time online.

Angela helped to raise her six grandchildren and had been married before and divorced young. Angela never thought she'd marry again until she met Michael on Facebook.

But a few months of talking over the phone and social media led to Angela traveling to Nigeria to meet Michael in person.

She planned to propose marriage to Michael right away in Nigeria, but then she discovered some red flags, such as Michael admitting he had received oral sex from a woman at a club.

Angela had also received plenty of warnings from friends that she was being scammed and duped.

Angela therefore postponed her marriage proposal and felt the need to get to know Michael better first.

And Michael's intentions weren't exactly clear given he wanted to move to the United States badly. He even idolized President Donald Trump and said he aspires to be a wealthy, successful businessman in America.

But that was the least of Angela and Michael's problems, as they seemed to bicker more than they got along during Angela's short stay in Nigeria.

Angela, however, said she and Michael made up after every fight and truly fell in love with each other. Angela insisted Michael had her heart and he made her feel appreciated and wanted.

She was therefore determined to go ahead with the process of bringing Michael over to the United States.

Meanwhile, Michael said he was looking forward to working on and bettering himself so he could become the man Angela wanted him to be.

But 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' second season ended with Angela accusing Michael of wiping out her bank account and telling him to "go to hell." (Angela later said the incident was actually due to a bank ATM error).

After that, Angela broke up with Michael during the filming 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' Season 2 Tell-All special after hearing he had called her his "elder."

At the time, Angela insisted that she was "done" with Michael repeatedly, but that didn't turn out to be the case.

In September 2018, Michael reportedly told a fan who commented on his Facebook page that he was "engaged" and expecting to move to the U.S. in 2019 under "God's grace" before changing his privacy settings to restrict public viewing of his posts.

Then, days after 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' Season 2 Tell-All special aired on TLC in October 2018, Angela changed her relationship status to "Engaged" on Facebook.

In November of that year, Angela confirmed she and Michael were still an item during an interview with In Touch Weekly.

"I'm in love with him. I don't just love him. I can move on, but why? We've come this far," Angela told the magazine at the time.

"Me and Michael have been together before any of this and we're going to make it. It's just going to be hard. I miss him extremely and I want to be with him."

During the new season of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days, Angela discussed how her relationship with Michael had evolved since their last appearance on the franchise.

"Michael and I have been engaged for about a year now. Truth of the matter is we have some issues still, but I love him and I miss him, so I filed for the K-1 visa. And when he gets here, we'll get married. I love him that much," Angela told the cameras.

Angela, however, planned to return to Nigeria one last time while waiting for Michael's visa to be approved.

Angela said Michael had to prove he'd do whatever it takes to make her happy, especially since she had asked him to stop using social media and he continued anyway and posted photos "showboating" with other women.

Angela only spent two weeks with Michael their first time together, but she was already planning for their wedding day in the United States -- wedding venue and all.

Angela checked out a venue called Cotton Patch, which featured a pond, gardens and fountains. She hoped to have an American ceremony followed by an African-style reception, complete with fireworks and televisions to show her guests their journey to love.

Angela was quoted $45,000 for the venue and all of her special touches, so she needed to make sure Michael was The One for her once and for all before blowing a bunch of money.

Angela later told her daughter Skyla she loved Michael but wasn't sure she could trust him. Angela vented about Michael's behavior on social media but then revealed he wants a baby and she probably couldn't have one given her age.

Angela asked Skyla to give her an egg so she could have a baby with Michael, but Skyla was totally against the idea because the child would technically be hers.

Angela therefore asked Skyla if she would consider carrying her baby as a surrogate, but Skyla called that idea "crazy" as well and said her mom wasn't thinking things through.

However, Skyla told Angela she "might" carry the baby once she and Michael settle into their life together and really commit to one another.

Angela later learned the paperwork for Michael's visa was being processed in California and would take five to eight months to clear. She was warned by her lawyer to take this very seriously because Michael coming to the U.S. would be a life-altering decision.

Angela did have her doubts after all.

Angela was also warned by her lawyer Michael's entry into America would cost her thousands of more dollars and she'd be held financially responsible for him even if their relationship doesn't work out.

Angela said she loved Michael but they needed to build trust in their relationship in order for her to feel ready for all of this.

Michael, for instance, apparently lied to Angela about going out on his birthday.

Michael told Angela he'd stay home and talk to her on his birthday, but he apparently didn't answer his phone over a six-hour period. Angela said Michael, once again, failed to deliver on his promises.

"He tells me what I want to hear and then he does what he wants," Angela vented to the cameras.

Michael explained he had his phone on him but was in a noisy place and so he couldn't answer the phone.

Angela was stressed out because she was working hard to bring Michael over to America, double shifts and whatnot at her job, and he couldn't even step outside to briefly take her call and touch base.

Angela considered canceling her trip to Nigeria as a result. Angela was angry not because Michael went out on his birthday but because he had lied to her again.

Angela didn't think Michael cared for or respected her, and she said she wasn't going to bring him to America if he was going to continue to lie to her. But Michael told Angela that he'd make it up to her and he loved and missed her.

Angela said her next trip to Nigeria was going to "make or break" her relationship because she didn't deserve to be treated like this.

Angela then traveled to Nigeria to finally reunite with Michael.

"I miss him... [but] I gotta make sure he is the right one, so we really need this time together to make sure we're doing the right thing... We've got to work things out."

Angela believed Michael "constantly lied" to her and so they had to work out their issues before he moves to the United States. Angela insisted, however, Michael wasn't a bad guy and she was really excited to see her "baby."

Based on what Michael had shared with viewers, he had changed for Angela. His friends made fun or Michael for being whipped and not hanging out with them much anymore.

"[Angela] say now I'm engaged so I can't be doing such things like that," Michael said in a confessional.

Michael's friends poked fun at Angela's age and said Michael had changed ever since meeting the "bossy" American woman. They also called Angela "a sugar mama" since she had asked Michael to stop working and often sent him money to take care of things.

Michael's friends were surprised Michael allowed Angela to be the head of household, but Michael suggested that was only temporary.

"Of course I do miss working and going out, but I'm worried Angela will get mad at me. Like when I went out on my birthday, she was super pissed at me," Michael told the cameras.

Michael's friends wanted to see Angela, but he felt nervous about such a meeting because Angela allegedly didn't like them. Michael's intention for the trip was to win Angela's trust back, and so he didn't want any new issues to arise.

When Michael met Angela at the airport, they embraced and kissed. But Michael knew a lot was on the line because if Angela couldn't grow to trust him, his chances of moving to the United States would be slim to none.

Michael gushed about how happy he was to see Angela because he had missed her "so, so much."

Once the pair returned to Michael's place, Angela gave Michael some gifts including Donald Trump boxers. He was excited because Angela was in a good mood and wanted to be lovey dovey.

Angela said Michael was "all about this white chocolate" and had become more comfortable with his sexuality. She planned to make love to him and enjoy their first night together.

When Angela woke up the next morning, she was so happy and gushed about being "in love" with Michael. She said their first night together in one year was amazing, but she was still mad about Michael going out with friends for his birthday.

The couple then drove for an hour to the beach, but Angela was aggravated because Michael was joking around and didn't seem to appreciate how much she had done to travel to be with him. Angela didn't think Michael cared or was taking their relationship seriously.

Michael had been hoping for a smooth first day in Nigeria together filled with love and laughter, but Angela was picking a fight and bringing up the past.

On their way to a boat cruise, Angela asked Michael if he had been on one before, and he said "yes," when he was younger with his uncle.

Angela, however, called Michael out for lying because she had seen a photo of him on a boat near the same boat dock with women on the boat.

Angela accused Michael of being a liar and said she wanted to go back home. She told Michael to get his own hotel room for the night because she was "done" with him. Michael told Angela that she was assuming things and he was telling her the truth.

"I've had it! I'm sick of his lying and his bullsh-t. I don't want to see him again. He's not sleeping in the room with me. I don't know where he's going, and I don't give a f-ck. I am done with Michael for good," Angela told the cameras.

So did Angela and Michael's relationship really end for good, or is the 90 Day Fiance couple still together?

As recently as June 2019, Michael posted several photos of the couple on his Instagram account -- including a selfie of them together.

In May 2019, Angela confirmed the couple was still together, engaged, and would be returning for Season 3 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days.

Angela was in New York City for an appearance at the time, and she spilled the beans to a fan who approached her for a photo about how she and Michael were still planning to tie the knot.

"We are getting married! We're filming Before the 90 Days right now! He's coming here [to the United States]," Angela told the fan, according to In Touch.

When asked if Michael "learned how to act right" in recent months, Angela reportedly said all good things about him.

"Yes girl, just gotta feed him some chicken and behind closed doors, he ain't back talking," Angela reportedly told her fan.

One month earlier, Michael took to Instagram and shared a photo of the couple from when they were filming the 90 Day Fiance spinoff.

"Forever and a day more," Michael wrote with a heart at the time, showing they were still together at the time.
