90 Day Fiance: The Other Way featured Ronald Smith partying hard at his bachelor party against Tiffany Franco's wishes, Jenny Slatten learning Sumit had quit his job, and Laura struggling to leave her life behind to move to Qatar during Monday night's broadcast on TLC.

Instead of following Americans and their foreign partners dating in the United States and attempting to marry within 90 days like the original 90 Day Fiance series, 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way follows American citizens moving across the globe and living in foreign countries for the sake of love.

90 Day Fiance: The Other Way's Americans will also have to wed within 90 days in order to stay in their new countries. Paul Staehle and Karine Martins, however, were already married at the time of filming.

The latest 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way broadcast featured Paul and Karine; Laura, a 51-year-old from Eustis, FL, and Aladin, a 29-year-old from Qatar; Jenny, a 60-year-old from Palm Springs, CA, and Sumit, a 30-year-old from New Delhi, India; Tiffany, a 27-year-old from Frederick, MD, and Ronald, a 29-year-old from South Africa; and Deavan, a 22-year-old from Salt Lake City, UT, and Jihoon, a 29-year-old from South Korea.

Corey Rathgeber, a 31-year-old from Mill A, WA, and girlfriend Evelin Villegas, a 26-year-old from Engabao, Ecuador, did not make an appearance in the episode.

After arriving in their new countries, the six American cast members will be shown racing a ticking clock and experiencing major culture shocks and challenges -- including winning over their soon-to-be foreign in-laws and trying to plan a wedding.

"Will uprooting their lives in the United States pay off or be the biggest mistake ever?" TLC teases.

Below is the latest on each 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way couple based on Monday night's episode on TLC.

TIFFANY and RONALD

Tiffany and her son Daniel had been in South Africa for two days, and it marked the first time the family was going to spend time with Ronald since he got released from a rehab facility for his gambling addiction.

Tiffany said Ronald seemed happy, healthy and excited for their wedding the following week.

But Ronald was about to embark on his bachelor party, and Tiffany thought it was "a stupid" idea because she had learned one addiction can easily transform into another. For example, a person addicted to gambling may turn his or her sights on alcohol instead.

Tiffany feared Ronald being in a party atmosphere so soon after leaving treatment.

"There's so much at stake here," Tiffany noted.

Ronald was also a bit worried about peer pressure, but Tiffany had set a list of rules he needed to follow -- no excessive drinking, bars, strippers, or cash flow. Tiffany wanted Ronald to make all of his transactions on a credit card so that she could review his receipts.

Ronald hadn't seen his friends in a long time, so he was just looked forward to getting together with them.

Tiffany warned Ronald's friend Carlos to not be irresponsible, and so Carlos promised to take care of her fiance.

"If Ronald can't prove to me that I can trust him, there won't be a wedding," she said in a confessional.

While Ronald was enjoying his bachelor party, his mother and female family members set up a sweet bachelorette party for Tiffany. Tiffany brought Daniel along because she figured the party would be pretty tame.

Tiffany wanted to make a good impression on all of Ronald's loved ones, but she couldn't help but think about what Ronald was doing and whether he was behaving. Tiffany didn't want Ronald to resort back to his old ways, but it was also an opportunity to build trust.

Tiffany wished her closest friends, sister and mother in the United States could attend her bachelorette party, but she appreciated the gesture.

Meanwhile, Ronald enjoyed mixed drinks at a bar for his bachelor party against Tiffany's wishes, but he tried to be mindful of how much he was consuming.

However, Ronald soon confessed he was "a little bit tipsy" and then a stripper danced on him.

Ronald feared Tiffany was going to be furious at him, and he expected to sleep on the couch that night.

LAURA and ALADIN

Laura was leaving for Qatar in one week to live halfway across the world with her fiance, Aladin.

Laura said the hardest issue was leaving her son Liam behind. Liam chose not to accept his mother's relationship or communicate with Aladin, especially because Aladin is 29 years old and Liam is 21 years old.

Laura thought the age difference was a huge factor for Liam, but Liam insisted he didn't approve of the romance because she had lied about it at first and was so secretive about her initial trip to Qatar.

Liam admitted Laura had been "very deceptive" about it and he feared this guy was just going to be "another douche."

Laura explained she's married to Aladin on paper but had yet to follow through with a traditional three-day marriage in Aladin's hometown of Tunisia. She and Aladin, however, planned on making their union official.

Laura hoped Liam would attend the wedding because there would be zero guests on her side otherwise, but Liam refused to participate.

"It's not that I don't want to go; I just think it would be too emotional for me to handle," Liam told the cameras.

Liam was scared for his mother because Laura was about to move to a country where women don't have as many rights as they do in the United States.

"You have a short temper and you're stubborn," Liam told his mom. "The problem is you are the problem most of the time. You are brash, you're going to get yourself in trouble, and no one is going to be there to bail you out."

Liam figured a temper tantrum would break up this relationship as it has done in the past.

Laura felt she was choosing between Aladin and her son, but she noted, "It's time for me to live my life."

Later on, Laura enjoyed her final day in America and her last chat with her son before traveling to another country.

Laura totally understood why Liam was so upset, but she was holding out hope he might change his mind and come to the wedding.

"The guilt of leaving Liam is tearing my heart apart, and I am feeling uneasy because of the way Aladin has been treating me lately. We've been having some issues recently that definitely concern me and are a red flag," Laura told the cameras.

Laura had a lot of mixed emotions before her trip, but she hoped and prayed Aladin would be her husband until death. Laura, however, knew it was going to be hard to trust her fiance.

Laura wondered if her fairy tale was going to be over before it started, because she and Aladin apparently got into a huge fight over this "girl who had crept up on his social media."

Laura said she had asked Aladin to remove the girl from his list of friends, but when she confronted him, they had a huge fight and Aladin blocked her from all of his social-media profiles and from being able to call or text him.

Once Aladin unblocked Laura, she texted him and expressed how she didn't feel loved or appreciated. She didn't think Aladin understood the sacrifice she was making for him.

The couple then FaceTimed and Aladin insisted he loved her and she should know that. Although they had been fighting, Aladin apparently couldn't wait to be with her and apologized for hurting her feelings.

Laura was fighting a broken heart because she had to leave her son and her dogs, and she wondered if she was making the biggest mistake of her life.

The day then arrived when Laura was supposed to leave her home and join Aladin. She planned to stick to her decision but found leaving very difficult.

"I am walking away from my life into the unknown," Laura said, adding that the move was more sad than anything and her heart was torn in two.

"I just wish we could all be together. I hope this move is worth it."

Once at the airport, Laura and Liam exchanged tearful and emotional goodbyes, and Laura begged her son to visit her down the road.

"It's like losing my right hand. I have no idea when I'm going to see my mother again," Liam cried to the cameras.

PAUL and KARINE

Paul had been in Brazil for two weeks and was hoping to start his life there and find a decent job, but he received a letter from police saying his permanent residency had been denied due to allegations he had committed multiple crimes.

Paul wondered if the police had him confused with someone else, because he was outraged to discover he had been accused of an act of terrorism as well as war crimes -- both of which Paul completely denied.

Paul therefore met with an attorney to get to the bottom of things and have some Portuguese in the letter translated for him, and Paul quickly learned his residency had been denied because he had been charged with "terroristic threatening of the third degree."

"Ohh, that's a misdemeanor charge. I was accused of threatening somebody that I was going to slash their tires," Paul explained.

Paul explained to the cameras that 13 years ago, he arrived home from work and discovered his wife was inside with another guy. Paul therefore threatened to slash the man's tires and "made some angry comments."

The attorney explained a charge such as terroristic threatening does not exist in Brazil, but once translated into Portuguese, it sounds like a charge related to terrorism.

The attorney therefore said he and Paul must explain to agents of the federal police that what Paul had been charged with back in the United States was not an act of terrorism but rather a normal threatening charge.

Paul asked what his options were, and the attorney said it was going to take a lot of work to appeal and ultimately change the decision. Paul was shocked because he thought there was a chance he may be denied over his arson charge -- but not a misdemeanor terroristic threatening charge.

Paul vented about how his wife in Brazil was pregnant but he wasn't allowed to stay there, nor was she allowed to move to the United States.

The attorney predicted it could take a week, a month or up to a year to reach a solution. Paul figured it was going to be "a serious waiting game" and he could only hope for the best.

DEAVAN and JIHOON

Jihoon and his parents arrived the previous night and were going to stay in Las Vegas for one week. Deavan really wanted to impress them and receive their blessing to marry their son so she could move to South Korea with Jihoon when the baby is born.

Deavan was then shown cooking Jihoon and his parents breakfast, and she felt she needed to nail it in order to prove she could be a good wife and homemaker, which is important in Korean culture.

But as Deavan attempted to cook, Jihoon's mother stepped in and tried to take over. Deavan said Jihoon's parents were doing everything their own way, and they even ate bacon that was completely raw.

Deavan wanted to impress with an American-style breakfast, but Jihoon's mother thought Deavan messed things up by making scrambled eggs instead of an omelette.

Meanwhile, Drascilla was acting totally out of control to the point where Deavan had to put her down to bed. Jihoon's parents laughed about how "active" Drascilla was after the little girl had sprawled herself out on the kitchen island.

Deavan was just desperate to make a good impression, and once breakfast was served, Jihoon's mother thought the eggs were too salty.

Jihoon's parents also didn't like how Jihoon and Deavan had to communicate through a language-translation app rather than face to face.

JENNY and SUMIT

Jenny was adjusting and slowly growing accustomed to life in India with Sumit. She had to take cold showers or a hot bucket bath, and she definitely missed her hot showers in the United States.

Sumit thought it was his duty to make Jenny feel comfortable in every aspect of their new life together, but he worried about having to break some news to her.

Sumit felt "a lot of pressure mentally" since Jenny had given up so much for him.

Sumit then revealed he had left his job to make arrangements for Jenny's arrival, such as finding them an apartment, and so he wasn't working or employed at that time.

Sumit quit his job so he could spend more time with Jenny, but she didn't know how they were going to pay their bills and their rent. Jenny needed security in India, but the fact Sumit was no longer working left her feeling "terrified."

Jenny brought six months worth of savings with her to India, but that wasn't going to last long. Not only did they need that money to get married, but she'd have to wait a while until obtaining a work permit to start making money on her own.

Jenny gave up everything to be with Sumit and wish he had involved her in his decision. She wondered if Sumit was keeping anything else from her, but he insisted he'd take care of her and everything would be fine.
