DEAVAN and JIHOON

It had been six weeks since Deavan gave birth to her son, Taeyang, and she was on her way to South Korea. She hadn't slept in 24 hours and was about to start a new life in a completely different world.

Deavan didn't bring her daughter Drascilla just so she could make sure their family would be settled and Jihoon would be working and able to support them.

Deavan expected Jihoon to have landed a full-time job and an apartment for them, but he was still living in his parents' house and new Deavan would be disappointed in him.

In addition to that, Jihoon had purchased a car seat online the day prior and it didn't arrive, so he had to go out and buy one before picking Deavan up at the airport. Jihoon worried he'd be late picking up his fiancee at the airport as a result.

Once Jihoon was on the road, his father called to inform him the car seat had arrived. Jihoon therefore rushed home, put the car seat together, and finally arrived at the airport nearly one hour late.

Deavan said it was time for Jihoon to support their family financially, as she had done enough.

Once Deavan arrived, she was upset Jihoon was late. She even brought a car seat with her! Deavan told the cameras she had told Jihoon about her car seat multiple times, and Jihoon felt like a fool, admitting he had made a mistake.

Once Deavan and Jihoon reunited, Deavan looked forward to relaxing, sleeping and finding what Jihoon had prepared for her.

Deavan thought they'd be staying at his parents' house for one night, but then Jihoon broke the news they'd be staying there for a few months. Jihoon said he was working a "delivery" job but needed more time to save money.

Deavan was so upset Jihoon was unprepared, as he had months to plan for her arrival and save money. She said Jihoon's behavior was "unacceptable."

Deavan couldn't believe she'd be forced to stay in Jihoon's parents' home considering it only had one bedroom and his parents slept on the couch. There wasn't enough room for Deavan, her baby and Drascilla, and Deavan told the cameras this situation wasn't fair to Jihoon's parents or to herself.

Jihoon's parents, however, were thrilled to see Deavan again once she stepped foot inside their house. Jihoon's dad noted it would be "uncomfortable" for everyone to share such a small space, however, so his parents told him to secure a place of his own as soon as possible.

Jihoon's parents told him to grow up, but he still considered himself "a childish boy." Jihoon let Deavan sleep in his bed and said he'd sleep on the floor, but Deavan noted that's exactly why they couldn't stay there.

Deavan didn't understand why Jihoon didn't have any savings.

"I'm keeping big secret about my money management. If I tell Deavan, the relationship [will be] over and Deavan [will] leave me," Jihoon told the cameras.

TIFFANY and RONALD

It had been about a month-and-a-half since Tiffany and Ronald got married, and they had recently discovered they were expecting a baby together.

Tiffany didn't trust Ronald to be out on his own with money in his pocket. Due to his prior gambling addiction, Tiffany felt a responsibility to keep Ronald's credit cards on her at all times so he wouldn't be triggered to gamble again.

Ronald, however, didn't think it was fair Tiffany was keeping him on such a tight leash. He felt it was important for Tiffany to trust him again and give him a second chance.

Once the pair got in the car together, Tiffany realized she had forgotten her purse, and Ronald got extremely angry.

Ronald yelled and swore about wanting freedom and to carry his own money going forward, but Tiffany didn't appreciate how Ronald was speaking to her. She couldn't believe Ronald was so angry just because things weren't convenient for him.

Tiffany therefore told Ronald to "shut the f-ck up" and thought it was a red flag her husband was demanding so much trust just a month out of his rehab treatment. Tiffany didn't think Ronald deserved to be so independent and said he needed to prove to her that he was a changed man.

After their fight in the car, Tiffany and Ronald brought their drama back home.

Tiffany was so upset Ronald had snapped at her, and she worried all the stress might result in Ronald relapsing. She just wanted to be responsible for their money.

Ronald then apologized for being "an assh-le," but Tiffany needed and wanted more. She said Ronald was "being insane" and "driving so fast" because he was pissed. Tiffany told Ronald a simple "sorry" wasn't enough for his bad behavior.

Tiffany made so many sacrifices for Ronald, and so she couldn't believe he would treat her so poorly. Ronald, however, was tired of Tiffany bringing up the past because he had been working so hard towards the future.

Ronald didn't think it was necessary for Tiffany to manage their finances because he had been through so much to change his life and become a better man, but Tiffany didn't want him to forget all he had put her through because of his gambling addiction.

Tiffany didn't want to be viewed as a possessive or controlling wife, especially since Ronald put her in this position to begin with. She couldn't believe Ronald was blaming her for having trust issues.

"I took such a leap of faith marrying Ronald, and his behavior tonight completely makes me doubt my decisions. This argument really makes me feel like packing my bags and getting out of South Africa," Tiffany told the cameras.

Tiffany told Ronald that if he couldn't do what she needed him to do in order for them to be okay, their relationship wasn't going to work.

"I'm not going to hurt you again," Ronald promised.

Tiffany cried about how their relationship was hard and Ronald wasn't making things any easier for her. Ronald asked for another chance and said it was very wrong of him to be cold and close his heart.

Tiffany noted their love needed to be very strong and solid in order to face all the challenges that awaited them.

KARINE and PAUL

It had been a few days since Paul saw Karine after their blowout fight. Paul said this fight was worse than ever and he wasn't sure there was much hope of them getting back together.

Paul therefore considered flying home to the United States and returning to his old life, but little did Karine know, his appeal regarding obtaining permanent residency in Brazil had been approved, and so he was finally able to apply for a work visa and then hopefully get a job.

Paul's mother advised him to work out his issues with Karine so he could be there for his child. Paul's mother didn't want Paul to miss out on being a father and watching his baby grow up.

Paul therefore realized he had made a mistake. He planned to step up and prove to Karine she could rely on him as a husband and father going forward, but he wasn't certain it was going to be enough.

Paul suddenly learned from Karine's father that Karine had gone into labor. He therefore made his way to the hospital as soon as possible, but he didn't know how Karine would react to his presence.

After speaking with Karine in the hospital, Paul stormed out angrily. She apparently didn't want him around for the baby's birth, and Paul told the cameras, "It is what it is. I'm really hurt."

"She told me to leave and get her some stuff. She wants her mom in there and doesn't want me here," Paul added.

Paul therefore planned to bring Karine the items she needed and drop them off. Paul found the whole situation upsetting, because he said he cherished Karine and loved their baby on the way.

Paul was shocked Karine wouldn't want him in Brazil to help raise their baby, but he wasn't about to give up on his marriage or the idea of being a father to his son.

COREY and EVELIN

Corey revealed he had received some terrible news a few days ago, that his father had passed away.

Corey said his father died at age 62 from complications with pancreatitis, which apparently worsened once he made it to the hospital. Corey said his father's death didn't make any sense because he had been in good health.

Corey gushed about how his father was the best parent anyone could ever ask for and everyone loved and admired him. Corey was extremely upset, but Evelin was there to support him.

"You're the best man I ever met. I always say that. And it's all thanks to your dad," Evelin told Corey. "Hopefully I can be support for you... I know you are going to need somebody by your side."

Evelin knew Corey had to take care of his family back in the United States, but she planned to be there for him for as long as he remained in Ecuador. Corey knew it was going to be extremely difficult to try to be a rock for his family.

Evelin wasn't able to join Corey in America because her visa had expired, so he'd have to endure the funeral and all of the arrangements alone.

JENNY and SUMIT

Jenny and Sumit took Jenny's daughter Christina and her wife Jen to a nice dinner out at a restaurant. Sumit was so happy to meet Jenny's child, and Sumit gushed about how much he loved Jenny.

Christina asked Sumit to share his long-term plans, and Sumit said he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Jenny. Sumit said he thought about Jenny even when they were in different rooms in their same apartment.

Christian therefore didn't understand why Sumit had spent so much time with his parents, but Sumit said they were suspicious and not supportive. Sumit explained he and Jenny would have a ring ceremony to solidify their love, meaning they had every intention of getting married.

Due to his family's disapproval, however, Sumit admitted none of his family members would be attending the ring ceremony. Sumit didn't want his family to put a stop to the ceremony.

"So if they come and you see them start crying -- like your mom and your father -- you're going to say, 'Sorry, Jenny, I can't do this,' and then go back to your family?" Jenny asked.

Sumit nodded his head, and Jenny was pissed off and noted, "Interesting."

Christina told Sumit that if he took his parents' side, he's "not a strong man." Christina wanted Sumit to "man up" and choose to be with Jenny through thick and thin.

Sumit insisted he wouldn't end his relationship, but Christina's wife pointed out Sumit clearly didn't know what he wanted. Sumit explained it's difficult for a man to work around his parents' parameters in India, much unlike the culture in the United States.

Christina wasn't in India to judge Sumit, but she advised him to face his parents and face the problem head on -- because sooner or later, he'd be forced to face it.
