While the 90 Day Fiance spinoff will feature different, but familiar, faces every week from the franchise, Shaun told Entertainment Tonight she is particularly excited to dive deep into Jenny and Sumit's storyline.

"I cannot wait for you to find out more about Jenny and Sumit," Shaun teased in a video interview with ET.

"Remember when Sumit's family came to their home and told Jenny that Sumit was still married? We have a producer who arrived there 24 hours later, and what he found out that happened that we did not air on regular TV, he will be discussing right here on our Bares All stage."

Shaun said questions will be answered about the heated confrontation that appeared to leave both Sumit and Jenny emotionally scarred.

"I've been wondering about, you know, 'Wait a minute, what was going on there?' Well, you'll find out here. I'm asking all about it and [the producer] knows all the behind-the-scenes details," Shaun gushed.

"He knows more about Sumit's family and what happened between them and Jenny... I can't wait for you to find that out."

Shaun revealed what really went down with Sumit's family was "so much worse" than what viewers saw on the first season of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way.

"And now I know why we could not show it on regular TV," Shaun noted. "But here we can show it."

As 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way fans recall, Jenny, a 61-year-old from Palm Springs, CA, met Sumit, a 32-year-old from India, on Facebook, and Jenny was shown moving to India on Season 1 of the series to start a life with her true love.

Jenny thought she was going to get married and live happily ever after with Sumit, but little did she know he was actually married to a woman in India.

Sumit had been married for two years, and not only was he lying to Jenny about his wife, but he was also lying to his family about his affair with Jenny.

"I was dating Jenny when my parents set up an arranged marriage, and I barely knew the girl before I married her... No one should force me into a marriage... It's my decision. I want to be with Jenny. It's my right to be happy," Sumit said in a confessional on the show.

Towards the end of Season 1, Sumit was ambushed at his apartment by more than a dozen of his family members, including his father-in-law, who all expressed rage and disgust over his secret romance with Jenny.

Sumit's family took him away from Jenny, who was left alone in India for almost a week without any idea of what was happening to Sumit. Sumit's family had even threatened to get the police involved.

Jenny ended up telling producers the story from her perspective on the show, but the ambush was not caught on tape and many details were left out as Jenny emotionally gave her account of what happened.

When Sumit and Jenny finally reunited after all the drama unfolded, Sumit explained he had been forced into marriage and Jenny was his one true love whom he truly wanted to marry -- but Jenny's time in India had expired and she had to return to the United States.

Season 2 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way therefore featured Jenny returning to India on a Tourist Visa and going through hoops to hopefully marry Sumit and obtain permanent residency in India.

In the show's second-season finale, Sumit determined he couldn't marry Jenny because his mother had threatened to commit suicide, but Sumit still promised Jenny a lifelong commitment and gave her a ring as a symbol of his unwavering love for her.

Shaun also teased in her interview with ET that viewers will see 90 Day Fiance alums Brittany Banks, Yazan Abo Horira, Angela Deem, Ed Brown, David Toborowsky, Annie Suwan, Tarik Myers, and Dean Hashim on 90 Day Bares All.

"This is the space where we are showing you every single thing that we could not show you on regular TV," Shaun explained.

"The show was described as 'bares all' because there's so many things -- video, confrontations, language, body parts -- that we can't show you on regular TV, but we can show them here."

Shaun continued, "Bares All is basically that. We are taking everything -- and I won't say they were left on the cutting room floor because these parts are really juicy -- but just because of the rules, we could not show you [on TLC]. Here, we can show you absolutely everything, so Bares All is the perfect title for this show."

It appears 90 Day Bares All may be replacing 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way's Season 2 Tell-All reunion.

TLC teased in late November a big announcement about the Tell-All special would be coming soon by posting a video clip of Shaun saying "the journey isn't over" on the show's official Instagram page.

In the video's caption on Instagram, 90 Day Fiance wrote at the time, "Love, lies, and laying it all out on the table. After this season of #90DayFiance: The Other Way, the couples have a lot to talk about. Stay tuned for a big announcement and more to come."

Discovery Inc.'s new discovery+ streaming service will include three additional 90 Day Fiance spinoffs that will be part of discovery+'s initial roster of original series: 90 Day Diaries, 90 Day Journey, and The Other Way Strikes Back!.

Discovery+ will cost $4.99 per month with ads or $6.99 without ads. Verizon customers will also be eligible to receive 12 months of discovery+ for free.

It isn't immediately clear what impact discovery+'s launch may have on future releases of TLC Go's own 90 Day Fiance original series, which have included 90 Day Fiance: What Now? and 90 Day Fiance: Just Landed.

According to a TLC spokesperson, TLC Go -- the network's free online streaming platform -- will not cease operating when discovery+ launches in the U.S. next month.

New seasons of 90 Day Fiance: What Now? have typically been released on TLC Go annually each spring or summer, however the network has not announced plans for a fifth season since Season 4 was released earlier this year.

Season 1 of 90 Day Fiance: Just Landed was released on TLC Go in December 2019.
