90 Day Fiance stars Ashley Martson and Jay Smith apparently just can't quit each other and are trying to put the pieces of their relationship back together.

"They are back together and they are trying to make it work out," an insider told E! News.

"[Ashley] wasn't happy without [Jay]. She is trying to make it work, and he is manning up about his behavior more."

Ashley had filed for divorce from Jay in January 2019 and then again in April 2019 over cheating allegations and pregnancy rumors involving Jay and other women, but neither divorce attempt resulted in an official end to their marriage.

Ashley then announced in November 2019 she was divorcing Jay once and for all after he finally agreed to sign the divorce papers. But one month later, Ashley cried on Instagram about how she was still in love with Jay.

Ironically, in January 2020, Ashley revealed on Instagram she and Jay were still not technically divorced due to an alleged paperwork error that kept their marriage intact.

And a lot has apparently changed since then.

"They rekindled things over the last week or so and they are planning on staying together through the quarantine," the source told E! News, referencing how people are asked to quarantine themselves amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

When one follower reportedly asked Jay on Instagram if he and Ashley are fighting for their marriage right now, Jay replied, "We been fighting from day uno."

Jay also claimed he and Ashley have "been married" when a fan asked about their current relationship status. In addition, Ashley changed her Instagram name back to Ashley Smith.

This past weekend, Ashley posted a video in which Jay was kissing her on the cheek and she was rocking a bright orange shirt that read "taken" on it.

Both Ashley and Jay haven't been shy about documenting their relationship on social media as they're quarantining themselves at home.

"Just over here gaining my quarantine 15 what are y'all up to!? Game night with some wine and Jamaican tonight," Ashley captioned a photo of herself eating Taco Bell.

Ashley insisted her marriage to Jay was over and she wanted to move on with her life earlier this year, but that's clearly not the case anymore.

Ashley and Jay, who married in 2018, starred on Season 6 of TLC's 90 Day Fiance. The couple later appeared on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?.

The couple has broken up and gotten back together since their wedding day probably more times than fans can even keep track of.

Ashley first filed for divorce in January 2019 because she had caught Jay flirting with other women on a dating app, however, she withdrew the paperwork less than two weeks later and decided to take him back.

Ashley's second divorce filing in April 2019 was a result of actually catching Jay allegedly cheating on her.

Although Ashley had set the divorce papers in motion on April 23 after 11 months of marriage, Jay apparently refused to sign the papers and so their divorce was never finalized.

As reported above, Jay apparently came around to signing the papers late last year.

Jay admitted on the Tell-All special of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?'s fourth season, which aired in July 2019, he had cheated on Ashley with two women.

However, rumors circulated for months prior to Jay's confession about his alleged numerous affairs and flings.

90 Day Fiance recently wrapped its seventh season, but the fourth season of its spinoff 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days is currently airing on Sunday nights at 8PM ET/PT on TLC.
