Below is what was shown on the latest episode of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days.

LISA and USMAN

Lisa and Usman woke up next to each other for the first time in Nigeria after "making love." Lisa said one thing had led to the next and it happened, but she admitted there was "a big cultural difference" when it comes to making love -- "American vs. "Nigerian."

Lisa explained she had to teach Usman how to have oral sex because he didn't even know what it was. Meanwhile, Usman said Lisa was "70 percent good" in bed out of the 100 percent he had been expecting, but he noted that was good enough for him.

Lisa confirmed she and Usman had decided against using a condom and it was his first time having unprotected sex. Usman told Lisa he "loved it" without protection.

Once the pair got ready, they met with Usman's two roommates to have breakfast. Lisa wasn't happy to share her man with his friends, but she put on a smile for his friends.

Usman's friends predicted Usman's mother would have a difficult time accepting Lisa into the family, mainly because she's a white woman, and Lisa joked about how her future mother-in-law worried she was going to bring Usman to the United States to become a sex slave.

Usman's friends didn't think Usman would disobey his mother if she didn't like Lisa and demanded they not proceed with a wedding, but Usman had lied to Lisa, saying they'd get married regardless, even if they failed to receive his mother's blessing.

Usman told the cameras he just wanted to think positively and hope for the best because he truly wanted to marry Lisa.

Lisa got up from the breakfast table because she said Usman had changed his story on whether they'd stay together if she couldn't win his mother over. She began fearing flying back to the United States as a single woman.

Lisa's biggest fear was that Usman's mother was going to say "no" and she wouldn't receive her blessing to marry Usman. Lisa knew Usman's mother might stand in their way of a lifetime of happiness.

Before meeting Usman's mom, Usman drove Lisa three hours to Kaduna, a big city in Nigeria, where he actually lived and worked in the music industry.

On the drive over, Lisa didn't appreciate people blowing up Usman's phone all the time, and Usman pointed out she's "very jealous" and "even more controlling in person." Usman claimed he didn't even know who was calling him at one point.

When Lisa discovered Usman bathed with a bucket and had a toilet that swiveled, she thanked God they were staying in a hotel.

Usman spoke to his friends about how he needed to address Lisa's attitude because he didn't want her to do anything that might jeopardize his career or relationship with co-workers.

GEOFFREY and VARYA

Geoffrey woke up alone and was disappointed Varya had opted not to spend the night with him. Things were still a little awkward between the couple, but Geoffrey was hoping for a fresh start.

Varya took Geoffrey around Moscow to see the sights, including Saint Basil's Cathedral. They took selfies, had some fun, and Geoffrey even earned a kiss or two on the cheek.

Geoffrey acknowledged there was no more awkwardness between them, and Varya agreed this was the man she had dated for five months and they were finally starting to connect.

Geoffrey liked Moscow a lot, but he asked Varya how she'd feel about potentially moving to Tennessee if things worked out between them. Varya wanted to move to America, but she didn't want to leave the big city. Varya said she'd prefer New York City over a place like Tennessee, which Geoffrey didn't seem to like hearing.

However, Geoffrey wasn't putting any pressure on Varya to move yet. He was just happy he felt "so comfortable" around her, and he believed Varya was showing him little expressions of love.

At the end of the day, Geoffrey asked Varya to stay in his hotel that night, and she obliged.

"I said 'yes' because I feel like we're compatible. We'll see where that brings us," Varya told the cameras.

The next morning, Geoffrey said waking up next to Varya was "a dream come true," and Varya gushed about how they had "sparks, chemistry and everything else." They were definitely headed down the right path.

Varya wanted to take their relationship to the next level by bringing Geoffrey home to Ryazan and introduce him to her friends. Varya revealed to Geoffrey that her friends were against him and didn't trust him.

"They don't believe it could be a true relationship," Varya told the cameras, adding that her friends would question Geoffrey and put him on the spot.

Varya threw Geoffrey's comb away because it had his ex's name on it. She didn't like how it was a memory for him, but Geoffrey took the comb out of the trash and said he needed it.

Geoffrey was surprised Varya got jealous over something he thought was so small, but she asked him to think more in the future. He hoped it was just a one-time incident because he didn't want to take a step back so early in their relationship.

Varya then showed Geoffrey her apartment, which had ceiling stains, exposed wiring, cracks in the wall and more. She hoped Geoffrey wouldn't judge her because of her living situation, but Geoffrey just seemed shocked and a little worried for her.

Varya said she didn't want to waste her money on fixing up the apartment if she was just going to sell it and move to America. Varya already had plans to move in with Geoffrey, clearly, which took him by surprise.

"So you look at me as the opportunity for you to go to the U.S.?" Geoffrey asked.

"I think you changed my words," Varya said.

Varya insisted she only wanted to obtain a visa from a person she loves, which made Geoffrey question everything.

"My heart says this girl is great... but what the hell are you doing? She's using you!" Geoffrey told the cameras.

"We haven't been talking for years, we've been talking for months. [Her neglecting her apartment] makes me think she had this going from the beginning... I don't know what I'm going to do."

ED and ROSEMARIE

Ed had just traveled 5,000 miles to meet Rose and he thought she was even more beautiful than he had expected. Ed said Rose, however, always avoided questions about her past and he was looking forward to getting to know each other better.

Rose spent the night with Ed in a hotel, and it was her first time in a hotel like that. She felt beautiful and like a princess, but she was struggling to communicate since her English was "limited."

Ed, like a gentleman, asked the front desk for two beds so she would feel comfortable and they wouldn't take their relationship too fast. He also wanted Rose to take an STD test so he could be certain he could trust her going forward.

Ed joked they were the same height when sitting down, but she disagreed.

In the end, Rose was happy there were two beds because she was not ready to be intimate yet and definitely didn't feel entirely comfortable. Rose didn't bring pajamas with her, so she wore a T-shirt and jean shorts to bed.

Ed felt bad, thinking he maybe should have brought pajamas for Rose to wear.

Ed was convinced he and Rose had chemistry and said his intention was to propose once the time was right. It seemed like Rose fell asleep in a matter of minutes because she was exhausted.

The next day, Ed was so excited to have a girlfriend for the first time in 28 years. Rose liked Ed because he called her his "queen," and he surprised her with room service and a nice breakfast.

Ed wanted to hold Rose's hand and her shopping before meeting her family. This was Ed's first time in the Philippines, and they were in Manila, which was four or five hours away from Rose's home.

The streets were very crowded, and Ed admitted it was like "100 degrees" a lot to take in. When he wanted to buy Rose pajamas, she grabbed his wallet out of his hand, took out cash and told the vendor to keep the change.

Ed said it was "borderline inappropriate" for Rose to reach into his wallet and take his money. He also still had an issue with Rose's sister asking him for money. Ed wasn't sure whether this was a scam and Rose was "in on it" the whole time.

Ed grew fatigued and frustrated, so he told Rose that he was done shopping and needed air conditioning. Rose wanted to stay and keep shopping, but they decided to take off.

AVERY and ASH

Avery had just arrived in Australia to meet her boyfriend online of nine months, and she said she slept only two hours on the flight. She was fighting nerves and worried Ash wasn't going to like her, especially because she didn't look her best.

Avery was ready to discover whether she and Ash had chemistry, and she wasn't sure what type of man was waiting for her in the airport since he probably always knew what to say and do as a relationship coach.

When the pair met each other for the first time in the airport, they hugged and then shared several sweet kisses. Both individuals admitted they were shaking, and Avery said Ash had taken her breath away.

"I have been waiting nine months for this moment. I think it's everything and more than I thought it would be. The chemistry is undeniably very strong and present, and Avery does look way better in real life -- way, way better," Ash said in a confessional.

Avery said meeting Ash was everything she had imagined as well, but she was concerned because she had put "a ton on the line" to meet Ash in Australia.

"I just hope he is the person I have been falling in love with for nine months," Avery told the cameras.

Ash lived with his brother, but Ash apparently told his brother to stay in an AirBnB during Avery's stay. Avery was looking forward to some time alone, and Ash said he could tell Avery was crazy about him.

Avery didn't want to have sex during their first night together, and Ash said he totally respected that. It was important to Avery that she and Ash build a spiritual and emotional connection first, and Avery understood that.

Ash gifted Avery with black roses because she loves the color as well as bracelets that read, "Ash loves Avery." Although they symbolize death, Ash said light emerges from darkness.

In the nine months they had dated, Avery apparently broke up with Ash three times. The last time they split, Ash showed off the bracelets he had purchased for Avery online, and she claimed she wasn't ready to accept his "overwhelming love" at the time.

"I shouldn't have just ghosted you," Avery told him, adding that her goal was to dive deep and get to know Ash and whether their relationship was genuine.

"I don't want him to meet my family, my kids or any of that until I know this is a relationship I want to pursue long term."

DAVID and LANA

David was looking to retire soon and purchase an RV so he can travel the world. The cat lover wanted to live in the RV full time and share that life with someone -- but first, he had to sell his unicycles.

David revealed Lana was 27 years old, beautiful and much younger. He admitted she was pretty out of his league.

David apparently fell for Lana's accent immediately when they met on a foreign dating website seven years prior, and he shared that Lana was "aggressively interested" in him when they first exchanged messages.

David and Lana began chatting more and more and then became boyfriend and girlfriend online.  They had never met in person before, but David said she seemed much older when they communicated because she was mature and well spoken.

However, Lana speaks no English and so they could only communicate through the website's chat room, which apparently translated Lana's messages for David into English. It was very expensive for David to talk this way, but Lana refused to switch to a more modern method of communication.

Every time David suggested talking elsewhere, he said, "She will get angry about it. She told me she is very shy and it's too overwhelming for her. So I do whatever I have to, to keep Lana happy."

"I think during the whole time I've been with Lana, I've spent over $100,000 on the website. That's how much it costs," he added.

David said it was worth the price because he didn't feel lonely and carried Lana in his heart.

The following week, David was leaving for Ukraine to finally meet Lana in-person and face-to-face for the first time. But before his trip, David met up with his friends, Dave and Victoria, of over 25 years at a restaurant.

"My friends know I've attempted to meet Lana on three earlier occasions. Each time, things didn't work out," David told the cameras.

David said Lana stood him up the first time and then her brother died on the second try. The third time, Lana told David she had a medical issue and needed surgery, which put her out of commission for three weeks.

But David said he was still attracted to Lana and wanted to be with her. He wasn't going to give up, but his pals had no faith Lana was going to show up.

Victoria, who is also originally from Ukraine, warned David this was all a scam because women in her former country tend to be "gold diggers" and "hunters."

David heard Victoria out, but she didn't change his mind. David had confidence Lana was going to show up this time around.

David said he chatted with Lana three or four hours a day but they couldn't speak to each other or see each other. She revealed she was probably going to wear a blue dress when they meet, but he was waiting for more answers on her train ride to see him in Ukraine.

"I don't think I'm being scammed by Lana. I still have high, high, high confidence that she will arrive. I can't imagine she won't... [We've talked] about getting married and our future together, so I am still 99.9 percent sure she's going to be there," David said in a confessional.

STEPHANIE and ERIKA

Stephanie's trip to Australia was only a few days away, and she couldn't wait to meet Erika in person. Stephanie said she loved Erika more than anything, and Erika apparently planned a lot of cool stuff for them to do together.

Stephanie told Erika over videochat she had told her mother that Erika is just a friend whom she wanted to visit. Stephanie admitted she had "chickened out," but she didn't want their meeting to become all about family drama.

"I wanted to tell my family I am bisexual before I left," Stephanie said in a confessional.

"Part of me does feel regret for not telling them about it, but I'm going into this situation with Erika with optimism and excitement, and I don't want to spoil any of that by getting into a huge fight with my family about this. So I'm just hoping she can understand that."

Stephanie got jealous of Erika's friends and plans. She said Erika lived a much more exciting life, while she typically sits home and watches TV with her dogs.

Stephanie worried their lifestyle differences might become an issue down the road, and Erika did say she hoped Stephanie could get along with her friends and there wouldn't be any drama.

Stephanie hoped her meeting with Erika wouldn't fall short of her expectations. She wasn't sure she could replicate her fantasies about finally seeing Erika face-to-face.

Stephanie was then shown packing for her trip on the day she left for Australia. She couldn't believe she'd be meeting Erika in less than 24 hours, and her heart was beating a mile a minute.

Stephanie said her connection with Erika was unlike anything she had ever experienced before, and she did not rule out the idea of getting engaged by the end of her trip to Australia.

Stephanie packed a purse, candles, soap and more for her girlfriend.

Given Stephanie has a severe disorder called aplastic anemia, which is a complete failure of the bone marrow, she needed to wear a mask on the plane, take antibiotics with her and hand-sanitize constantly in order to stay healthy.

Stephanie hoped her precautions wouldn't scare Erika off, but she said it was necessary to be safe due to her condition.

Stephanie's best friend said Stephanie tends to jump all into a relationship and lead with her heart, but she had concerns Erika wouldn't be okay with Stephanie's limited lifestyle.

Stephanie had decided to be celibate after her last relationship because she was tired of being hurt and screwed over. Stephanie was open to her celibacy coming to an end upon meeting Erika as long as Erika truly cared about her.

"I am risking both my heart and my health," Stephanie told the cameras.

DARCEY and TOM

Darcey had a girls' day at the spa with her twin sister Stacey Silva and Stacey's friend Reina.

Darcey said she didn't know where her relationship with Tom stood, mainly after seeing a picture of Tom with a pretty blonde woman. Darcey confessed she wasn't ready to face the truth.

When Reina saw the picture, she asked Darcey if she was sure it wasn't a throwback because Tom looked much younger in the photo, but Darcey assured Reina that Tom had lost nearly 50 pounds and cut his hair short.

Darcey said she wasn't replying to Tom's text messages until he could own his behavior. She felt she was being played for a fool, and Reina pointed out Darcey and Tom kind of had a "sick" relationship in that they just couldn't quit each other.

Stacey believed Darcey deserved more and Tom wasn't putting enough effort into his relationship.

"It's not fair to my sister," Stacey noted.

Darcey started crying at the spa and felt "hurt and scared." She was worried Tom was going to break up with her once they met up in New York.

"Meeting Jesse in New York was one of the worst days of my life. I felt ganged up on, manipulated, and it broke my heart. I don't want that to happen with Tom," Darcey vented in a confessional.

Reina and Stacey asked Darcey to stick up for herself in person and tell Tom how he had wronged her and what he was about to lose. Darcey said if she dumped Tom, it wouldn't be over the photos. Darcey said if she called it quits on her relationship, it would be to show Tom her strength, her self-love, and the love she had for her daughters.

Darcey intended to confront Tom and tell him that he wasn't treating her with care or respect.
