AVERY and OMAR

Avery and her mother Teri were in the airport about to travel to Lebanon to meet Avery's fiancee, Omar, but Avery's phone was missing.

Teri refused to get on the plane without her daughter's phone, but Avery insisted no one was going to tell her what to do. Teri feared Avery would have no way to communicate with anyone if she found herself in a compromising situation or Omar changed as a person and brought her somewhere frightening.

Avery never found her phone, but she and her mother boarded the flight anyway.

Avery was so excited to meet the love of her life, but she hadn't told her mother yet she'd be moving to Syria after the wedding so they could be together until Omar's spousal visa to come to the United States gets approved.

Omar revealed he's a dentist who's studying to obtain a Master's Degree in Peridontics.

Meanwhile, Omar was ready to meet his "soul mate" and checked into a hotel in Lebanon where they were going to stay. Avery and her mother, however, would have their own room.

Omar said they were going to meet in Lebanon because of the war in Syria that started in 2011. Omar explained Syria used to be a beautiful country but the war destroyed his home and he lost many friends. He acknowledged Syria wasn't a safe place for Avery at the moment.

As a gift for his fiancee, Omar purchased multiple head scarves for her in different colors. He noted religion is important to him and he was proud Avery decided to covert on her own to build self-confidence rather than just following a religion since birth.

But Omar was afraid he may not like Avery in person and he still had to get over her past. Prior to converting, Avery was a different woman, and Omar had never even kissed a girl before.

After a 10-hour flight and then a connection flight, Avery finally landed in Lebanon and she was thrilled to meet her man in person for the first time. She was nervous and had done so much to be with him, so she just hoped they'd have chemistry.

It had been 30 hours since Avery last showered, but she was still ready to jump into Omar's arms.

When Avery arrived in Lebanon, the airline had apparently lost all of her luggage, but she didn't care because she was moments away from hugging Omar.

Omar was waiting at the airport with a huge, beautiful bouquet of red roses, and when they finally saw each other in person for the first time, they embraced in a long hug. Avery gushed about how Omar was so "cute" and "handsome," and he agreed Avery was even "more beautiful" in person.

Teri thought Avery and Omar's first meeting was sweet, but she anticipated there would be major cultural differences.

Both Avery and Omar were worried about there being conflict with Terri, because Omar didn't want anything to stand in his way of getting married.

Avery had urges to kiss Omar, but she knew it was against their religion to do so, even though it was totally acceptable in her culture.

The couple then separated into their respective hotel rooms, and Avery assured her mother before bed that she'd be returning home. Avery still had to share her plans about moving to Syria after the wedding, but she didn't plan on doing so until after the wedding.

DARCEY and TOM

Darcey was traveling to London, England to meet the man she had been waiting four years to see and had grown to love.

She wanted the day to be "the most perfect day ever" for them both.

When Darcey arrived at the airport, a driver picked her up. Darcey was okay with having a driver, but deep down inside, she wanted Tom's face to be the first person she saw.

Darcey then got ready for 45 minutes in an airport bathroom. She changed her clothes, showered herself in perfume and picked out a sexy black outfit -- including a Gucci bodysuit and long suit jacket -- with thigh-high boots.

Darcey was hoping Tom would treat her with respect and dote on her, which were things she was not used to in her previous relationship. She was looking forward to Tom making her feel like a woman, like she actually deserved the love he had to offer.

Darcey was feeling excited and anxious when she was only minutes away from meeting Tom face to face.

Thomas is a distributor for a sports fitness brand, and so he said he's a globetrotter who lives a bachelor lifestyle and has had many women in his past. But Tom was looking to settle down and progress a relationship past the bedroom, which was apparently unknown territory for him.

Tom said Darcey was romantic and could put a smile on his face in the darkest of days. He thought Darcey was an extremely attractive woman and said he couldn't take her eyes off her.

Tom was apparently a shoulder for Darcey to cry on after her relationship with Jesse Meester failed. Tom realized he really cared for Darcey because he typically didn't listen to others' problems.

Tom didn't want to treat Darcey like a one-night stand, and so he booked a separate room for her at a hotel. But his sister Emma wondered if Darcey could be the real deal given he had his heart broken before and therefore had many walls up.

Emma noted Tom liked many women and so it would take a lot for Tom to settle down.

Tom admitted to his sister Emma that Darcey loved him but it's a difficult thing to say back. Tom wouldn't even acknowledge Darcey was his girlfriend, saying they were just an "item" and "more than friends."

"I'm not really at the stage of thinking where I'm going to settle down, get married, have kids, and move to her country or have her move here. I'm at the point where I'm meeting someone I've been really good friends with and I'm going to see where it goes," Tom told Emma.

Tom said Darcey lived in "a bit of a fantasy" when it comes to romance and he didn't want to rush things.

"I want to take my time, and I hope she won't be upset by that," Tom said in a confessional.

Darcey and Tom finally met at a restaurant, and he thought she looked even more beautiful than their photos. Darcey admitted Tom "looked a little different" than his photos but she was more interested in what he had to offer on the inside rather than the outside.

The couple celebrated over champagne. Tom wasn't sure Darcey was thrilled upon seeing him for the first time in person, but she assured him that he was even better than what she had expected.

Darcey said Tom wasn't exactly fit "like a gym boy," but that's not really what she wanted. She said he had the "it factor" with his handsome looks and good style.

But once Tom broke the news of Darcey having her own room, she was definitely surprised. After knowing each other for four years and flirting over the phone, she couldn't believe Tom didn't want to spend the night with her.

"Darcey is coming onto me very strong, and I'm kind of still gauging where I want them to be," Tom told the cameras.

Tom, however, said he was treating Darcey with respect and she would be able to decide if she wanted to invite him into her room to stay the night.

Darcey appreciated the fact Tom was acting like a gentleman, but she also wanted to feel like Tom was really into her -- and she wasn't quite sure about that. Darcey thought their relationship was on a different level and that maybe they weren't on the same page after all.

ANGELA and MICHAEL

Angela was traveling to Nigeria in one week to see her fiance, whom she had proposed to one year prior. She had applied for the K-1 visa one year ago and intended to marry Michael once he arrives in the United States.

Angela learned the paperwork was being processed in California and it would take five to eight months to clear. She was warned by her lawyer to take this very seriously because it would be a life-altering decision.

Angela did have her doubts after all. Not only did Michael allegedly follow and pay attention to other women on social media, but he also wanted a baby and Angela didn't think she could physically give him one.

Angela was also warned by her lawyer Michael's entry into America would cost her thousands of more dollars and she'd be held financially responsible for him even if their relationship doesn't work out.

Angela said she loved Michael but they needed to build trust in their relationship.

Michael, for instance, apparently lied to Angela about going out on his birthday.

Michael told Angela he'd stay home and talk to her on his birthday, but he apparently didn't answer his phone over a six-hour period. Angela said Michael, once again, failed to deliver on his promises.

"He tells me what I want to hear and then he does what he wants," Angela vented to the cameras.

Michael explained he had his phone on him but was in a noisy place and so he couldn't answer the phone.

Angela was stressed out because she was working hard to bring Michael over to America, double shifts and whatnot at work, and he couldn't even step outside to briefly take her call and touch base.

Angela considered canceling her trip to Nigeria as a result. Angela was angry not because Michael went out on his birthday but because he had lied to her again.

Angela didn't think Michael cared for or respected her, and she said she wasn't going to bring him to America if he was going to continue to lie to her. Michael told Angela that he'd made it up to her and he loved and missed her.

Angela said her next trip was "make or break" for their relationship because she didn't deserve to be treated like this.

REBECCA and ZIED

After months of talking on the phone and online, Rebecca was finally in Tunisia with her boyfriend. She said he was tall and handsome, and despite the fact she had sent him photos with a lot of filters adjusting her appearance, it seemed Zied liked how she looked.

But the couple already had problems, as Zied asked Rebecca to rent a car for the next three weeks. She was not expecting that expense at all, and Zied was not even allowed to drive the rental car.

Rebecca wasn't getting the feeling Zied was controlling like her ex from Morocco, whom she was technically still married to.

When the couple pulled up to a hotel, Rebecca thought it was beautiful and Tunisia seemed to be a beautiful country, but she saw a security guard looking for bombs underneath people's cars, which really bothered and scared her. Zied, however, told Rebecca not to worry.

Zied was nervous to have sex with Rebecca that night because she's 20 years older than him as well as a grandmother, but Rebecca had gone a year without sex.

The buildup was great, but Rebecca said if the pair lacked chemistry it would ruin the rest of her trip.

After spending their first night together, Rebecca said it was amazing and Zied was both "romantic and passionate." She revealed they had slept together and the encounter was great.

Rebecca said she and Zied were "so comfortable together," but she had some questions to ask in order to determine she was making the right choices. She didn't want to find out Zied was a totally different man than she had assumed given her ex from Morocco had shocked her with his behavior once he arrived in the United States.

Zied told Rebecca he had one serious relationship in his life that lasted for two years but she apparently cheated on him. Rebecca worried Zied might have issues with trust as a result.

Rebecca said her ex was very jealous and controlling, but Zied promised he wasn't like her ex. Zied admitted he didn't want to talk about other men because he was, in fact, a bit of a jealous guy.

Rebecca had yet to tell Zied she was still married since she had filed for divorce right before her trip.

"I don't think Zied would like it very much to realize he just had sex with a married woman. I don't have a plan for when I'm going to tell Zied or even how I'm going to tell him, I just know I need to find the right time and do it soon," Rebecca said in a confessional.

BENJAMIN and AKINYI

Benjamin was a project support specialist for an alternative energy company. He called himself loyal almost to a fault and was very active in church. He was even studying to be ordained as a minister.

But most of Benjamin's time was dedicated to his five-year-old son Grayson. He had 50/50 custody with his son's mother, whom he had been with for seven years and got married.

Benjamin said he and his ex-wife had trust issues and so she had filed for divorce four years prior. The divorce apparently hit Benjamin hard and so he had made a lot of lifestyle changes, such as taking public transportation and spending little on money.

Although his last relationship left him heartbroken and broke, Benjamin's heart was still open to finding love. He therefore tried the dating scene in Arizona, but when that failed, he extended the borders on his dating app and met Akinyi from Nairobi.

Benjamin worried Akinyi was a catfish at first, so he asked her to send a photo making a certain hand gesture, and she did just that to confirm she's the real deal. And once the pair communicated on video chat, Benjamin said he knew she was the one for him.

Benjamin said Akinyi had never dated a Caucasian man before, but they both claimed to be in love. Akinyi told him that she couldn't wait to hold his hand and kiss him.

But Benjamin was also prepared to meet Akinyi's family as well. In her culture in Kenya, women don't bring men home to their tribes unless they plan to marry them, so Benjamin was well aware this was going to be a big deal.

Benjamin, however, said he wanted to get to know Akinyi better in person before proposing marriage. He was also surprised to learn there was "a bride price" in Kenyan culture, meaning he must gather money to pay Akinyi's family to marry her.

Benjamin said if the bride price was going to interfere with caring for his son, he might have to return home single and alone.

A bank teller recommended Benjamin take cash on his trip rather than write checks, but he was worried about the bride price given he had no savings and lived paycheck to paycheck. He only had $2,000 in the bank and apparently read that a bride price can range from $10,000-15,000.

Benjamin also had to determine whether Akinyi would like to step into the role of being a step-parent.

CAESAR and MARIA

Caesar was ready to fly to Mexico in a few days to meet his girlfriend from the Ukraine for the first time in person. He had sent Maria about $2,000 a week ago so she could purchase her plane ticket.

But with a few days left before the trip, Maria had yet to send Caesar her itinerary, and he was feeling very nervous and anxious. Caesar's close friend Yami was worried Maria was going to bail on their plans and had spent all the money.

But Caesar planned to take a chance and propose marriage to Maria during their time together.

"I am worried about his trip to Mexico. I have a feeling she won't even show up... I don't think she loves him. I think she loves what he does for her. If she genuinely loved him, she would've gone to meet him a long time ago," Yami told the cameras.

Caesar wasn't sure Maria was ready to get engaged, but he had put his heart and soul into the relationship. Caesar was a little afraid Maria wouldn't show up, but he had faith things would work out.

One day before Caesar's flight to Cancun, Maria told Caesar it was her mother's birthday and she wanted to meet in Cancun two weeks later, but Caesar had already booked his flight. He couldn't believe she was trying to postpone their time together once again.

"She's breaking my heart right now, and it doesn't feel good," Caesar vented in a confessional.

Maria later asked Caesar for more money because she said she needed to get her hair and teeth done as well as buy new clothes and makeup. Maria said she'd need more money to book a flight to Mexico, and Caesar wasn't sure whether this meeting was ever going to happen.

Maria, however, said later that night she would book her flight.

Caesar said Maria had been his dream for the last five years and so all he could do was hope for the best. Caesar told Maria she could use the money he had previously sent for the things she needed and then he'd go ahead and book her a flight.

Caesar therefore purchased a plane ticket from the Ukraine to Mexico, and each ticket cost around $1,500. That was three weeks worth of work for Caesar, and he hadn't even paid his rent, water, cable or electric bills.

Caesar used his entire paycheck to buy another ticket, and he said there was no way she could get out of this now.
