ANGELA and MICHAEL

The 90 Day Fiance broadcast began where last week's episode had left off, with Michael picking Angela up at the airport in Nigeria.

On the couple's way back to Michael's place, apparently a group of men laid iron spikes in front of Michael's car so they could tow it away. When Michael tried to stop them, someone hit him.

Airport security broke up the fight and the tow-truck drivers ultimately agreed to release Michael's car. Michael said there are "a lot of scammers" in Nigeria and one has to be careful. He explained that he's usually calm and collected but he needed to defend himself and protect his fiancee.

Michael was afraid one of the guys was going to hurt Angela, who apparently punched someone in the head. She was so proud of Michael for standing up for himself, and she found his courage sexy.

Once the pair reunited, Angela gave Michael some gifts such as Donald Trump boxers. He was excited because Angela was in a good mood and wanted to get lovey dovey.

Angela said Michael was "all about this white chocolate" and had become more comfortable with his sexuality. She planned to make love to him and enjoy their first night together.

When Angela woke up that morning, she was so happy and gushed about being "in love" with Michael. She said their first night together in one year was amazing, but she was still mad about Michael going out with friends for his birthday.

Angela had a problem with Michael "showboating" on social media for and with other women. She clearly still had some trust issues to work out with Michael before feeling confident about marrying him.

The couple drove for an hour to the beach, but Angela was aggravated because Michael was joking around and didn't seem to appreciate how much she had done to travel to be with him. Angela didn't think Michael cared or was taking their relationship seriously.

Michael had been hoping for a smooth first day in Nigeria together filled with love and laughter, but Angela was picking a fight and bringing up the past.

Michael drove Angela to a boat cruise. She asked him if he had been on a boat before, and he said he had been on a boat cruise before with his uncle when he was younger.

Angela called Michael out for lying because she had seen a photo of him on a boat near the same boat dock with women on the boat.

Angela accused Michael of being a liar and said she wanted to go back home. She told Michael to get his own hotel room because she was "done" with him. Michael told Angela that she was assuming things and he was telling her the truth.

"I've had it! I'm sick of his lying and his bullsh-t. I don't want to see him again. He's not sleeping in the room with me. I don't know where he's going, and I don't give a f-ck. I am done with Michael for good," Angela told the cameras.

REBECCA and ZIED

Rebecca was about to meet Zied's mother and father, and the couple was going to be spending the night with them. Rebecca was "very nervous" because she admitted she was old enough to be his mother and intended to move their son to a different country.

Zied's parents are also conservative Muslims, and so she wasn't sure whether they would like her.

When Rebecca arrived, things got off on the wrong foot because she accidentally knocked a priceless heirloom onto the ground and broke it, but Zied's parents didn't appear to be angry.

Over dinner, Zied's parents also asked about her having married at Arabic man before, which made Rebecca feel very awkward. Zied's parents wanted their son to have a happy and good life, but at one point, they caught a glimpse of her tattoos and seemed displeased.

Zied's parents asked Zied if Rebecca would be willing to remove her tattoos, and Zied said yes. Zied's father insisted it wasn't a good look and he shouldn't forget about his religion and culture because tattoos are forbidden.

Zied and Rebecca ended up sleeping in different rooms since they were in his parents' home.

The next morning, Rebecca snooped through the room to see what she could find, and she discovered a bag of photos of herself and items she had gifted Zied. Rebecca thought that was really sweet, but she feared Zied might be looking for a ticket to America in order to have a better life.

Zied's parents' home, for example, wasn't what Rebecca had been expecting given the space was small and they didn't even have a shower.

Zied's mom wanted her son to be with a Tunisian woman, but then he broke the news he wanted to propose to Rebecca and then move to her country. His mother wanted Zied to be comfortable and have a better life, but she was worried about his happiness.

Zied said he was very happy with Rebecca but wanted to spend more time with her before proposing and determining they will spend the rest of their lives together. But Zied still didn't know Rebecca was technically married to a Moroccan man.

TIMOTHY and JENIFFER

Timothy told the cameras he and Jeniffer just slept during their first night together. Timothy didn't make a move, but he was confident they would get physical when the time is right.

Jeniffer could tell Tim respected her, but she thought it was "very strange" he didn't even try to kiss her. Timothy told Jeniffer that she looked beautiful while she slept but he wanted to prove he wasn't there for just sex.

"I want you to conquer me," Jeniffer said. "It's not something you ask a girl, you just do it!"

Timothy wanted their first kiss to be natural and comfortable, but Jeniffer insisted they needed more action and less talk. She told Timothy that if he wanted to make a move, he needed to "jump" on it.

Jeniffer lived with her grandparents, Rosa and Luis, since her divorce, so Timothy was about to meet some of her family. Timothy was nervous for this major step in their relationship and acknowledged he needed to prepare and ultimately do a lot in order to impress them.

Timothy then met Jeniffer's grandparents and noted she didn't usually invite men over to her house. Her grandparents apparently had doubts about Timothy, and there was awkward silence at the table.

Timothy insisted he's a good man with a good heart and wanted to treat Jeniffer well and give her a good life.

Rosa and Luis wanted to make sure Jeniffer wouldn't suffer through another divorce, so they asked if they could trust Timothy, and he promised they could because he had his heart broken before as well.

Rosa thought Timothy seemed like a good guy based on their first impression of him, but then he admitted he had visited Colombia five times before, which raised a big red flag in Jeniffer's mind.

Timothy was withholding the fact his last serious relationship was with a Colombian girl and that's why he had traveled to her country so many times. Timothy was scared about how Jeniffer would react to this news, so he decided to hold onto his secret for a little longer.

Timothy said he planned to marry and have children with his ex-girlfriend and so their breakup brought him a lot of hurt and pain. However, he told the cameras he had moved on from that relationship and was doing just fine.

Suddenly, Timothy received a text message from his ex-girlfriend. Timothy worried Jeniffer was going to be furious about his ex being from Colombia -- and about the fact she had reached out to him so unexpectedly.

At dinner that night at a restaurant, Timothy appeared stressed and Jeniffer knew something was up. Jeniffer told Timothy to be honest with her, and so he revealed his ex was also Colombian.

"Oh really? Like me? That's so funny," Jeniffer said.

Jeniffer was angry, asking Timothy if he was trying to replace his Colombian ex. Jeniffer didn't understand why Timothy had been hiding his past if it didn't affect him in the present day, and so she didn't trust him.

Timothy admitted the relationship lasted for two years and he had been living with his ex. Timothy said he wasn't going to text his ex back, but she was upset because Timothy still seemed to have feelings invested in this woman.

Jeniffer asked to see the text message, and Timothy had her listed as "Mami" in his phone. Jeniffer was furious Timothy had yet to change her name in his phone, and so she threw a drink in his face and stormed out of the restaurant.

Timothy hoped to make things right, saying his heart would be broken again if things didn't work out with Jeniffer.

CAESAR and MARIA

Caesar was enjoying his time in Cancun, Mexico, waiting to meet his Ukrainian girlfriend for the first time after five years together.

Caesar was expecting Maria to arrive in 12 hours, but everyone was doubting whether she was going to show up. Caesar therefore felt anxiety, especially because Maria hadn't responded to any of his text messages or phone calls in four days.

Caesar couldn't wait to pick Maria up at the airport while wearing a suit and holding flowers. He was so confident Maria would arrive, but she had apparently let him down several times before.

"I'm ready to sit there and wait for her. I have to. I've got to. I've invested all this time, so I've got to see. I just hope that she gets here, so I'm going to do a lot of praying tonight," Caesar told the cameras.

Ten hours later, Caesar prepped the hotel room for Maria's arrival by getting roses, champagne and chocolates. He wanted everything to be perfect, but then Maria sent him a text message that her flight to Cancun was canceled.

Caesar was so upset and didn't know whether the airline had canceled the flight or Maria went ahead and canceled her reservation.

When Caesar called Maria, she didn't pick up the phone.

Caesar asked Maria why she didn't tell him this sooner considering her flight was one day prior, but she didn't reply. He didn't know what to think or say.

Caesar later found out Maria's reservation had been canceled by the airline because his payment method had been declined.

A representative for the airline told Caesar over the phone the reservation was canceled automatically because "there were insufficient funds" in his account and so he had never been charged for the flight.

"It wasn't her fault. It was my fault," Caesar said in a confessional.

"If the ticket wasn't canceled, I think Maria would've gotten on that plane. I still have hope in my heart that I can meet her in person. When you really love somebody, you don't ever give up on them. So I'm going to still try to get her here; I'm going to do whatever it takes."

DARCEY and TOM

Darcey said her connection with Tom had deepened and the couple finally made love. The couple agreed the night was romantic and Darcey noted it was "everlasting" and she was happy they had finally "sealed the deal."

Tom was glad the pair had waited to be intimate and couldn't wait to see where their relationship led.

Darcey said the night pushed them 10 steps in the right direction and it was "such a relief." She finally felt like they were on "the same page."

While shopping around town, the pair walked by a jewelry store and Darcey pointed out she likes white diamonds. Tom noted Darcey put a lot of pressure on getting engaged and wanting to be married, but he wanted to take his time with the relationship to make sure she's The One.

Tom simply didn't want to rush into anything, and he warned Darcey he wouldn't be getting down on one knee "now." Darcey seemed to understand, but she told the cameras maybe she could change his mind.

Darcey told the cameras she was falling for Tom and he seemed to be falling for her more as well.

Tom then brought Darcey out to a club, where she met a couple of girls who happened to be Tom's good friends. However, had dated one of the women named Roucelle for three or four months.

Darcey thought it was "a little odd" he had invited an ex-girlfriend to come out with them, but Darcey intended to be nice and hoped his friends would accept her.

Tom told the cameras Roucelle didn't have much of a filter, so he didn't know what to expect or how the night would go. Darcey gushed about how easy it was to talk to Tom and how he made her laugh, but Tom wouldn't say he and Darcey were exclusive or boyfriend and girlfriend.

Darcey said she was in a relationship in her mind, but Tom wasn't 100 percent sure about their future together. Roucelle admitted Tom could be "quite disconnected with his emotions sometimes." She warned Darcey that Tom tended to disappear and close himself off.

Darcey told Roucelle that she wanted to dig deeper and establish more of a connection, but Roucelle pointed out that was going to be difficult.

Tom admitted he had walls up and was guarded because he had been engaged twice before, and both times, the women left him.

"Maybe I can't commit because of the way things were in the past," Tom said in a confessional.

Roucelle thought Darcey seemed "really nice," but she told Tom that she couldn't picture them together once Darcey left the table to go to the bathroom. Tom couldn't admit he was in love, and Roucelle insisted Tom wasn't "emotionally capable" of feeling that way or embracing his emotions.

BENJAMIN and AKINYI

Benjamin was staying in Akinyi's brother's house so he could keep an eye on him. Benjamin wasn't exactly comfortable, but he knew it was vital to impress Akinyi's brother in order to marry her.

"If Fidel does not like me, he could definitely speak to his parents and terminate Akinyi and I even dating," Benjamin told the cameras.

Akinyi had a suspicion Benjamin and her brother weren't getting along, but he promised his girlfriend that he was trying. Akinyi told Benjamin he'd be meeting her parents that day, and he was nervous.

When walking to her parents' house, Akinyi said Benjamin was "very noticeable" and everyone was staring at him. Akinyi thought everyone was fascinated by Benjamin and joked maybe they should just walk together at night.

Akinyi advised Benjamin to eat whatever food gets put in front of him as to not waste her parents' money and sit on the left side of her brother. Akinyi could feel the pressure and was fearful he may not be able to pay the bride price.

Akinyi wasn't worried about her mother liking Benjamin, but she wasn't sure her father was going to take a liking to her. She also didn't know how her father was going to feel about her dating a Caucasian person.

"If he doesn't bless us, then you go back to America a single man," Akinyi told her boyfriend.

Because Benjamin was previously married and has a child, she was concerned her father wouldn't approve of their union.

Benjamin then met Akinyi's parents and hoped to reach their expectations. Akinyi had never brought a man home as her boyfriend before, so both she and Benjamin were nervous. Once Benjamin walked in, he even forgot to say "hi" and introduce himself.

Akinyi's father was late for the gathering, so Akinyi worried that meant he simply didn't want to meet Benjamin.

Fidel wasn't convinced Benjamin was the right man for his sister because their cultures are so different. For example, Benjamin seemed to cringe while eating an entire fish, including its brains.

Akinyi's father ended up skipping the dinner entirely, which made Akinyi very sad because she needed his approval to marry Benjamin. Akinyi left the house crying, telling Benjamin that her brother had made a comment she didn't like that upset her.

Akinyi asked Benjamin to go, and he didn't understand what was going on. He was frustrated because he had traveled over 9,000 miles to be with Akinyi and he was only there for two weeks.

It hurt Benjamin that Akinyi wanted to be alone rather than staying with him and talking things out.

AVERY and OMAR

Omar and Avery's mother Teri were shown going out for lunch together, without Avery, because he wanted to talk to her about something. Omar explained under Islamic law, a dowry is necessary, which is a mandatory payment to support the wife in case of divorce or her husband's death.

Teri didn't want to "sell" her daughter," but Omar insisted the payment was just to support Avery. Omar said it was up to Teri to decide the amount, and so Teri threw out $10,000 as the amount.

Teri thought it was strange to put monetary value on her daughter, but she didn't want to sell Avery short and decided to respect Omar's culture. Omar, however, reminded Teri that he was a student and didn't have much money.

Omar revealed if she and Avery got divorced, Avery would only walk away with eight percent of their earnings. Teri therefore stood by the fact $10,000 was appropriate.

But since she eventually learned Omar's parents had asked for $6,000 for his oldest sister, Teri thought it was appropriate to ask for the same amount for Avery.

Teri wanted to make sure Omar was marrying for love and he didn't view marriage as just a transaction.

Teri then told Omar that she feared Avery would try to run off with him instead of returning home to the United States, and then Omar broke the news something was going to be hard for her to hear.

Omar suggested if he didn't get approved for a U.S. visa or the process ended up being very difficult, Avery would want to live somewhere else with him. But Teri said she would fight Avery moving to a different country "tooth and nail."

Omar didn't think Teri could control her daughter, but Teri feared the idea of Avery potentially living in Syria. Teri knew her daughter and figured she wouldn't want to live separately from Omar.
