90 Day Fiance star Darcey Silva has spoiled the storyline of her currently-airing Darcey & Stacey spinoff series and announced she secretly got engaged to Georgi Rusev in June.

"It was definitely a total surprise for me. Georgi and I have a very deep connection, and I feel like in that moment I was not expecting it at all."

Sunday night's TLC broadcast of Darcey & Stacey showed Georgi telling the show's producers he wanted to propose to Darcey and showing off an engagement ring he planned to give her.
However, the preview for Darcey & Stacey's next episode showed Georgi second-guessing whether he actually wanted to follow through with a proposal.
"All these arguments we having all the time, I don't know, it's kind of getting annoying," Georgi was shown telling Florian Sukaj, who married Darcey's twin sister Stacey Silva earlier in Darcey & Stacey's season.
"I need a bit more time to make the decision to propose or not," Georgi, a Bulgarian who has been living in Washington, DC for several years, told the show's producers.
After initially meeting on social media, Georgi and Darcey only met in-person for the first time while they were in Miami for the Super Bowl earlier this year.
However, despite the newness of the relationship, the couple decided to quarantine together in Darcey's Connecticut hometown when the pandemic stuck in March.
According to Georgi, planning his proposal while living with Darcey was difficult.
"It was really hard to find the ring, make calls, make the reservation for the boat, for dinner," he told People.

RELATED LINK: '90 DAY FIANCE' COUPLES NOWGeorgi -- who was still legally married to another woman when he began living with Darcey -- told People the couple feel "very secure" about their relationship.
"The most important [thing] is we understand each other and we have each other's backs," he said. "We feel very secure with each other."
"Everybody's going to have their issues from time to time, but if we can communicate and talk through that, that's what I've always wanted in a relationship," Darcey added.
According to Darcey, Georgi has also fit in well with her teenage daughters Aniko and Aspen.
"They mean the most to me, and Georgi knows they come first and foremost in my life. He accepts them and me as a mom, and they get along very well," she told People.
"We already kind of feel like a little family unit."
Darcey told People she is hoping for a beach wedding, and preferably a destination wedding.
"I want family involved, his side of the family and loved ones from all over," she said. "Maybe something intimate, beautiful and romantic here in the States first and then [abroad] as well at some point."

On Season 3 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days, Darcey was shown traveling to England to pursue what she believed would be a fairy-tale romance with Tom Brooks, a British businessman who had become her friend first when he helped her get through her difficult breakup with Jesse.
Darcey and Tom fell in love during her trip, but their flame quickly fizzled out once Darcey returned to the United States and attempted to make a long-distance relationship work but was only met halfway with Tom's efforts.
