A Wisconsin couple found that miracles sometimes happen twice, when a second white calf was born on their buffalo farm.

Valerie and Dave Heider buried their first white buffalo, Miracle, in 2004. Miracle was born white in 1994 but turned brown as it grew older, something that is expected to happen to the new arrival.
The Heiders discovered the new calf last week as they checked for storm damage on their farm, the Janesville Gazette reported. It was so recently born that its navel was still wet.
"It was kind of shocking, actually," Valerie Heider told the newspaper. "God gives you a second chance on a lot of things."
Tourism to Rock County, in southern Wisconsin, increased 22 percent in 1995, the year after Miracle's birth. Many of the visitors were Indians who saw the calf as the fulfillment of a prophecy.
The Heiders said they are unsure if the new calf, which, unlike Miracle, is male, will be as big a draw, because the white buffalo of the prophecy is female. But they are prepared to repave the cornfield that replaced their parking lot.
