Fame” follows Allen’s attempts to recruit multi-talented performers (ages 16 and up) from across the country -- followed by an intense “boot camp” drill. As the group members hone their skills and routines in front of celebrity judges, family and friends, the field will be narrowed as viewers at home will determine who ultimately travels the path all the way to “Fame.”

A nationwide search led by Allen will lead to 24 contestants competing to become “Fame-ous.” For four weeks, groups of six contestants will perform for celebrity judges (to be announced) who will determine which members of each group will continue. When the final contestants have been chosen, America becomes the judge to select who will receive an “instant resume”-- a combination of commitments from high-profile entertainment executives. The winner will receive recording and management contracts, agent representation and a year at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy, among other opportunities and prizes.

A member of the pop sensation ‘NSYNC, Fatone and fellow band mates solidified their place in music history with numerous awards and multi-million record sales of such albums as “’NSYNC,” “No Strings Attached” and “Celebrity.” Fatone recently made his Broadway debut as Mark, the struggling filmmaker in Jonathan Larson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, “Rent.” In addition to being an accomplished singer, Fatone is also an actor who can be seen as Angelo in the film "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" as well as "On the Line" and "Longshot."

Fame” is produced by MGM Television Entertainment and Stone Stanley Entertainment with David G. Stanley, Scott A. Stone and multiple Emmy Award-winner Jeff Margolis serving as executive producers.
