Arie Luyendyk Jr. is opening up about life with fiancee Lauren Burnham now that they've been living together in Scottsdale, AZ, for about two weeks.

"It's been really fun actually," The Bachelor's Season 22 star told Entertainment Tonight.

"Her dog Dallas is so cute, and he gets along with my dog [Bastian]. And we're looking at houses, and it's a really exciting time of life."

After getting engaged March 6 live on The Bachelor: After the Final Rose, the 36-year-old pro racing driver and Lauren, 25, took off on a romantic two-week vacation to Iceland and Barcelona.

Once the pair returned to the United States, they enjoyed a road trip from Lauren's hometown in Virginia Beach to Arizona.

"For me, it's been really cool," Arie said of his dynamic with Lauren, who worked in tech sales before her The Bachelor appearance.

"[Living together] has strengthened our relationship, and we love hanging out together. We are very similar, so we get along and it's just great," Arie gushed.

"It's been so easy going. I think the biggest part is just not paying too close attention to social media. We like to post and share our lives with people, but we also don't really dive into the comments. We want to be positive."

Arie and Lauren have often received unfriendly social media feedback because of how he handled the end of his The Bachelor season. Arie actually proposed marriage to Becca Kufrin during the finale, only to dump her weeks later on-camera.

Arie then begged his runner-up, Lauren, to take him back because he claimed at the time he was madly in love with her, and it didn't take much for Lauren to give the Bachelor a second chance.

Once The Bachelor season ended in March, Arie and Lauren gushed about how they were ready to get married and start a family in the near future.

"Wedding planning is going great," Arie told ET. "We're trying to see if we still want to do the TV side of things or if we want to do it privately."

Regardless of whether cameras will film the couple's big day, Arie revealed there "could be a big wedding" on the horizon.

"Our parents are helping, too [with the plans]," Arie shared.

"Lauren's mom is being a big help, and the planning's going good. We always say we want a small wedding but then we keep looking at the guest list, and it keeps growing more and more everyday, so it could be a big wedding."

Arie also touched upon the couple's recent meeting with Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars counselors, Dr. Ish Major and Dr. Venus Nicolino, which spawned speculation The Bachelor lovebirds may be appearing on the next season of the WE tv reality series.

"We went to lunch with them just to hear about their show, and they gave us a lot of good advice," Arie recalled.

"It's always good to get advice. It doesn't hurt. We've also met with Lauren's pastor at her church. So it's good to really lean on people that you know can shed some light on how to help your relationship."
