The Bachelorette favorites Luke Pell and Chase McNary have confirmed they are both up for the role of Season 21's The Bachelor star.

During separate interviews backstage at the recent taping of The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All, which airs Tuesday night at 8PM ET/PT on ABC, Entertainment Tonight asked Pell and McNary whether they are in talks to be the next Bachelor -- and whether they'd be up for the job.

"I'm at a place now where it feels good to be in love, and I definitely look forward to that in the future," Pell said, clearly dodging the question.

Once the ET reporter pushed for answers, the 31-year-old Texas cowboy and war veteran got real.

"It's a possibility," Pell revealed, "and so, I definitely would not pass on it."

While Pell said he'd definitely take advantage of the opportunity, McNary's response was cagier.

"I guess, you know, that's..." McNary began, stumbling over his words.

Once the reporter interjected and jokingly demanded McNary not lie to her, the 27-year-old Colorado medical sales representative elaborated with a laugh, "The discussions are there."

In terms of whether McNary would like to become the next Bachelor, he explained, "It's just -- I don't know. There's a lot of weight there. It puts you under the microscope of America, and that's scary."

McNary and Pell were both eliminated from The Bachelorette on Monday night's episode, and it's safe to say JoJo Fletcher broke their hearts.

Life & Style just reported yesterday that James Taylor is also in the running to follow in Ben Higgins' footsteps as the Bachelor.

"His personality really appeals to viewers," a source told the magazine of the 29-year-old country singer from Katy, TX. "Producers haven't made any decisions yet, but they think he could be a strong and interesting choice. They're definitely considering him."
