The official announcement was made with a Monday post on Dancing with the Stars' official Twitter account.

"What's up guys, Andy Grammer here," the 31-year-old singer said in a video on the social media page. "The rumors are true -- I'm doing Dancing With the Stars. Check me out on Sept. 14."

The video was captioned, "Honey, he's good! Please join us in welcoming @AndyGrammer to #dwts."

Grammer has hit songs like "Honey, I'm Good" and "Fine By Me."

During an interview with Ryan Seacrest Monday on his radio show, Grammer revealed his original pro partner might not be able to compete on Season 21 due to an injury.

"I've had one meeting so far with my partner who apparently got hurt, which is a super bummer," Grammer told Seacrest.

"So I have to get another partner, which is terrible. I really liked her! Her name is Peta Murgatroyd. I can kind of move and be on beat, but I was telling her, everything she wanted me to do was like Gaston from Beauty and the Beast."

Grammer joins previously-announced celebrity participants including Nick Carter, Bindi Irwin and Chaka Khan.

The entire Dancing with the Stars cast will be revealed September 2 on Good Morning America. The new season premieres September 14 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
