Nick Viall didn't win the heart of Kaitlyn Bristowe, but he may have a shot to win a mirror-ball trophy.

According to sources, Viall might be competing on Dancing with the Stars' 21st season, Us Weekly reported.

The sources say Viall could be added to the show's roster before the entire cast is officially announced September 2 on Good Morning America.

Bristowe won't compete on the ABC reality dancing competition because of "not-so-fortuitous timing," according to Us.

Viall, a 34-year-old software salesman from Chicago, IL, is a two-time runner-up. He finished in second place on both Bristowe and Andi Dorfman's seasons of The Bachelorette.

Dorfman selected ex-fiance Josh Murray instead of Viall on Season 10, while Bristowe chose her fiance Shawn Booth at the conclusion of eason 11.

Ben Higgins also beat Viall out for the role of the Bachelor for Season 20. As of recently, Viall has gotten into great shape and is pursuing a career in modeling.

Dancing with the Stars' new season is set to premiere September 14 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
