Desiree Hartsock and her fiance Chris Siegfried have revealed they will be getting married in California in January.

Although the ninth-season The Bachelorette couple currently live together in Seattle, WA, Hartsock recently wrote in her blog, "We wanted to pick a place that was going to have better weather than here in Seattle, that would also be a fun destination spot for our guests. I lived in Cali for the past 10 years, so that also drew me there for our wedding. ;)"

Siegfried said the couple is "very excited about the wedding," according to the Puget Sound Business Journal, however, they won't be getting married on television as they had originally anticipated.

"We wanted to share it with everyone, because they wanted to see it," Siegfried told the Business Journal. But for ABC, "it's not cost effective... We are interested but right now I don't think it is in the cards."

Regardless, Hartsock's dress is "designed and ready to go" and they are inviting 150 family and friends -- including many people from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette family such as Jackie Parr and Brooks Forester.

ABC reportedly initially told the pair they could exchange vows on television as long as they waited until Fall 2014 despite Hartsock's wishes to marry in Summer 2013. The network allegedly delayed the event to hopefully increase ratings, but now they've decided to not go through with it at all.

"They told Des they're not going to pay her anything," a source told In Touch Weekly. "They're not even going to put the wedding on TV!"

While ABC has footed the bill for other Bachelor and Bachelorette couples to wed on TV, Hartsock and Siegfried apparently just aren't viewed the same way as Catherine Giudici and Sean Lowe, for example.

"Des is just boring," the source added. "Plus, ratings for Sean and Catherine's wedding weren't that great."

Hartsock and Siegfried celebrated their engagement party in February and the bride-to-be's shower in early August. She found love with Siegfried after failing to win Lowe's heart during his The Bachelor edition.

Siegfried proposed to Hartsock during The Bachelorette's ninth-season finale, which was filmed in May 2013 and aired three months later. She selected the former professional baseball player over runner-up Drew Kenney after getting over the heartbreak of Forester unexpectedly dumping her.
