NBC’s “The Restaurant” concluded its summer 2003 run with the evening's #1 rating for any program on any network among adults 18-49.

According to preliminary “fast affiliate-based” in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research, “The Restaurant” (3.7 rating, 11 share among adults 18-49, 7.9 million viewers overall) built on its 18-49 lead-in from “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” by a strong 19 percent. This marks a fourth week in a row “The Restaurant” has built on its 18-49 lead-in from the hit drama “Criminal Intent.” The popular reality series has also won its time period in 18-49 with all six telecasts (including a tie). Summer-to-date, “The Restaurant” is up by 13 percent over NBC’s 18-49 slot results for the same nights last year.
