Jenna and Heidi from 'Survivor: Amazon' ignored by TV critics at CBS fall bash

The Austin (TX) American-Statesman reports that Survivor: The Amazon winner Jenna Morasca and her ally, fifth-place finisher Heidi Strobel, appeared at CBS's July 20 nighttime "star party" following the media preview for the 2003-04 season. The party was held at the trendy Lucky Strike Lanes in Hollywood, a 12-alley bowling center (and upscale restaurant/bar, of course). Among the other network stars and executives present to meet with the media were Judging Amy's Tyne Daly and JAG's David James Elliott.

Whether Jenna and Heidi thought they's be asked about Survivor or about their nude photographs appearing in the current issue of Playboy is unknown -- because the reporters had no interest in talking to them. They were described as looking "sad and lonely."

No wonder Jenna is willing to sacrifice what's left of her fame in an off-Broadway play unlikely to have its full name reprinted in family newspapers. It just goes to show that even Survivor winners can be overexposed.
