Recognizable reality TV stars such as Richard Hatch and Susan Hawk of 'Survivor' are among a roster of fellow alternative celebrities who will compete in a special edition of the hit NBC game show 'Dog Eat Dog' airing Monday, July 15 (8-9 p.m. ET). Brooke Burns ('Baywatch') hosts this series that’s played before an in-studio audience and combines extreme stunts and outrageous dares with smarts and strategy.

As with every episode of “Dog Eat Dog,” the six celebrities first spend a day undergoing various tests of intellect and brawn to judge each others' strengths and weaknesses before gathering the next day on the elaborate stage to see if the "top dog" will walk away with $25,000 or if the other five players will split that amount amongst themselves.
“Dog Eat Dog” is this summer’s most-watched reality show. With this week’s results figured in, the hit Monday series is averaging 10.2 million viewers, which tops the 10.1 million for Fox’s Wednesday edition of “American Idol” and the 9.8 million for the Tuesday “American Idol.”
Among adults 18-49, "Dog Eat Dog" has ranked as Monday's top-rated program among adults 18-49 with each of its first two telecasts. For the June 17-23 week, "Dog Eat Dog" finished tied for the No. 3 adult 18-49 rating among all prime-time programs and through three nights of the current week, "Dog Eat Dog" is tied for the No. 1 position with the Tuesday edition of "American Idol."
