After several years of fighting to save her marriage, the Kendra On Top star is feeling tired and defeated.

"Today is the last day of my marriage to this beautiful man," Kendra, 32, captioned a selfie of the smiling couple Friday on Instagram.

Kendra and the former NFL player, 35, tied the knot almost nine years ago, and they've since welcomed two children together, son Hank IV, 8, and daughter Alijah, 3.

"I will forever love Hank and be open but for now we have chosen to go our own ways. I'm beyond sad and heartbroken because I did believe in forever, that's why I said yes but unfortunately too much fear has gotten in the way," Kendra continued in her April 6 statement.

"We are both amazing parents and our kids will be happy n never know the difference other than seeing mama smile. Sometimes love looks funny. We are told to make sacrifices in life if it's true love well in this case it's me. I want to see happy Hank again... I miss that."

Kendra noted, "Marriage was just a piece of paper and a piece of jewelry but our hearts will always be real."

Kendra also told her followers and fans they will probably still see her with Hank "a lot" because "there's no hate" between them.

Kendra said of her amicable split, "Love wins in this case it just looks a little funny. Thank you Hank for a beautiful 8 years of marriage and 2 beautiful kids. I feel so thankful and blessed."

Rumors and reports Kendra is planning to file for divorce began to swirl late last month, with sources telling multiple media outlets the former Playboy model has been uncomfortable and unhappy in her relationship for quite some time.

And on Monday, Kendra broke down in tears as she posted a series of Instagram Story videos.

"I did everything I could. It wasn't good enough. I will always love him. My heart will always remain open for him. I believed him forever. I really did. Guess it's just not meant to be. I'm so scared. I have to get strong for my kids," said the reality TV star.

A 2014 cheating scandal seemed to be the beginning of the end for Kendra and Hank's marriage.

The pair's trust and communication broke down once Hank allegedly had an affair with a transgender model when Kendra was eight months pregnant with their daughter.

The alleged betrayal "devastated" and "blindsided" Kendra, but she still attempted to work out her issues with Hank -- as shown on a previous season of Marriage Boot Camp in 2015 -- since she truly believes in marriage.

Kendra found fame by starring on The Girls Next Door reality series with the late Hugh Hefner. Her latest show, Kendra on Top, just wrapped its sixth season in August 2017, and the series' seventh edition is slated to premiere in June 2018 on WE tv.
