Married at First Sight featured the season's three couples traveling to different romantic destinations in attempt to reignite a spark during the latest episode of the Lifetime series' sixth season on Tuesday night.

The six strangers who agreed to marry at first sight were Jaclyn Schwartzberg, a 29-year-old teacher turned sales representative; Ryan Buckley, a 29-year-old firefighter; Molly Duff, a 25-year-old commercial insurance adjuster; Jonathan Francetic, a 28-year-old U.S. Army veteran and former financial associate; Shawniece Jackson, a 29-year-old entrepreneur and cosmetologist; and Jephte Pierre, a 26-year-old second grade teacher.

Jaclyn married Ryan, Molly walked down the aisle to Jonathan, and Shawniece became a wife to Jephte after being matched by Married at First Sight experts Dr. Jessica Griffin, Dr. Pepper Schwartz, and Pastor Calvin Roberson.

The episode kicked off with less than two weeks remaining of the Married at First Sight process.

On Day 44 of this extreme experiment, Dr. Pepper advised the couples to focus on the highlights and happy aspects of their marriages rather than dwell on conflict or issues currently at hand, so she asked them to take a road trip and spend some romantic, quiet time with each other since Decision Day was around the corner.

While sitting down with Dr. Pepper, Jaclyn admitted she had learned not to over-think things, while Ryan acknowledged he needed to do better in his marriage and could do two things to follow through with that -- listen to Jaclyn more and spend more time with her.

Before taking off on their separate weekend getaways, the three couples met and enjoyed dinner, catching up and sharing the similarities and differences in their marriages.

At one point, Jephte asked everyone to describe the hardest part of marriage for them, and Jaclyn said every little problem became exaggerated in that if she mentioned a love for travel, Ryan assumed she'd take off at any point in their relationship and leave a child behind.

Molly revealed she learned to be "brutally honest" with her husband because communication is key, and then Jonathan confessed the most difficult part of being married to Molly was "a whole bunch of stuff" he "didn't want to talk about."

"Molly and I have not had sex. Molly said she wanted... the pressure off, and so I've taken the pressure off as best I can and internalize it. It doesn't mean the pressure is not there for me and it doesn't mean it doesn't suck for me, but it was a big risk getting married at first sight and I just want to make sure I don't screw it up," Jonathan explained.

"It's not about having sex. The issue is I don't think anyone realizes how cold Molly can be. She's not affectionate on-camera, but she's even colder once the cameras are gone. Getting zero affection from your spouse is really tough."

Jonathan then announced to the group that getting "rejected constantly" was the hardest part of marriage for him.

"Yeah, this blows for me, but I'm stuck in it. I'm going to keep trying; I've got to keep trying," Jonathan blurted out.

"You're not stuck in it -- just so you know," Molly sniped, although she "knew better" than to let this disagreement ruin their trip to Florida.

Once Jonathan went to the bathroom at the restaurant, Molly explained to her fellow MAFS stars that she was a "99 percent" match with Jonathan, as they had "literally everything in common."

However, the physical chemistry was the only thing missing for Molly still, and couldn't explain why.

"I'm not an idiot. I know he's attractive. I know he's an attractive guy. He's got so much going for him, he's jacked. So for me, it's one of those things where we have all of these other things going for us," Molly said, adding that occasional "blowups" with Jonathan over their lack of intimacy ruin any attraction that develops.

After the gathering, Ryan and Jaclyn decided to drive to New York, NY; Shawniece and Jephte opted to travel to Danville, VT -- where Jephte intended to act a little more romantic for his wife -- and Molly and Jonathan agreed to fly to Orlando, FL, since it's where Jonathan grew up.

The couples took off on Day 45, and Jaclyn felt she had only "touched the surface" with her husband, so she was looking forward to getting to know him even better and growing closer.

"I know Ryan and I were matched for a great reason, and if I don't give [our relationship] that time, I know I'll regret it, and I know I want to," Jaclyn told the cameras.

"I know sometimes it's hard for me to say, 'Hey, I made a mistake,' or, 'Hey, I messed up,' but Jackie needs that supportive husband, and I want to be that person she can rely on," Ryan noted.

As for Jonathan and Molly, she was feeling closer to her husband with each passing adventure and personal conversation.

In New York on Day 46, Ryan and Jaclyn took a horse-drawn carriage through the city streets and Central Park. It was a romantic moment for both individuals, who knew there was potential for love between them. But Jaclyn needed more consistency in their relationship to feel that strong of a connection.

After a romantic day for Jephte and Shawniece, Jephte surprised his wife with the wedding video from their photographer while they were relaxing in bed at their hotel. Shawniece broke down into tears re-living the day she married a stranger, and she called her wedding "the best day of my life."

"Marrying a stranger... was the best choice I ever made," Shawniece told her husband in tears, before telling the cameras they've come "such a long way" as a couple.

The following day, Jephte and Shawniece attempted a corn maze that left them both frustrated. Shawniece felt Jephte didn't listen to her or communicate well, and so getting lost in that maze just resulted in Shawniece being pissed off.

"He's used to doing everything by himself, so if he wants to do sh-t by himself, then why be married? Go do the sh-t by yourself. I give up," Shawniece vented to the cameras.

On Day 47, Molly and Jonathan decided to go ride roller-coasters and have some fun at Universal Studios in Orlando, which is a memorable activity Molly used to enjoy with her beloved father, who passed away from pancreatic cancer.

Molly had a blast at the park, and Jonathan said he had been waiting to see this happy-go-lucky side of Molly for quite some time. The day made Molly feel "hopeful" about her marriage, because she and Jonathan got along beautifully most of the time.

During lunch at the amusement park, Molly opened up about her father's death, and Jonathan, in turn, shared a summary of his difficult past in which a "catastrophic event" tore his family apart. Jonathan admitted he had seen "the worst of a marriage," with his father suing his mother.

Molly found it attractive that Jonathan could still be so optimistic about marriage after a rough childhood. He was motivated to succeed, and she really liked that about him.

Molly then gave Jonathan a little kiss at the table, which seemed to completely shock him. Jonathan had a huge smile on his face and leaned in for another peck, and he got it!

A preview for the next Married at First Sight episode, however, shows Molly and Jonathan getting into a blowout fight that could possibly result in the end of their marriage.
