WE tv has announced Mama June: From Not to Hot, a new docu-reality series in which the famous mother from TLC's former show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo will undergo a huge transformation, will premiere Tuesday, February 24 at 10PM ET/PT.

The show will feature June on her journey through a life-changing "physical and emotional metamorphosis that will leave one of America's most recognizable personalities virtually unrecognizable," according to the network.

Over the course of seven one-hour episodes, viewers will witness June on a path of self-discovery to figure out what kind of woman, mother, lover and celebrity she is and wants to become. June will receive support along the way from her daughters Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Shannon and Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon, as well as other close family and friends.

Mama June: From Not to Hot will follow June's personal life, from learning that her ex-partner Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson is getting married to the moment she reveals her new look. She will not only lose weight via intensive workout sessions with trainer Kenya Crooks, but she'll also undergo a series of extensive plastic surgery procedures.

Crooks will also help June to battle self-doubt, ongoing temptation to cheat, and a string of disastrous dates to become the woman she has always wanted to be.

"WE tv is the home of authentic personalities, and no one is more authentic and fun to watch than Mama June. The addition of Mama June: From Not to Hot along with franchise series Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, solidifies Friday nights on WE tv as the destination for can't-miss television," WE tv president, Marc Juris, said in a statement.

"We are pleased to show viewers a new side of Mama June as she transforms her body, and her life, while still maintaining her signature sense of humor. We are rooting for her as she goes on her amazing journey and we know the audience will too."

In the debut episode of Mama June: From Not to Hot titled "Thin-Tervension," June will seek revenge on Thompson since he's found love with someone else, so she'll begin dieting and dating. Small steps will eventually become drastic steps to change her appearance and feelings about herself.

Mama June: From Not to Hot is being produced by Thinkfactory Media and executive produced by Adam Freeman, Adam Reed, Moriah Muse, Leslie Greif, Lauren P. Gellert, Lauren Lazin and David Stefanou.

Mama June: From Not to Hot is June's return to television since TLC's Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, which focused on her beauty-pageant daughter Alana and was canceled in October 2014.

The cancellation followed reports June was dating a convicted sex offender, Mark McDaniel, who had served time in jail a little over a decade ago for allegedly molesting one of June's own children. June, however, denied any involvement with McDaniel at the time.

"Supporting the health and welfare of these remarkable children is our only priority. TLC is faithfully committed to the children's ongoing comfort and well-being," the network had said in a statement.

Below is the list of Mama June: From Not to Hot's cast members and their WE tv-supplied descriptions:

- Mama June

After two successful seasons of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and a failed attempt at saving her relationship on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, full-figured mother of four "Mama June" Shannon is buckling down to get her weight on track. June has always felt she was "beautimous," but now that she's back on the market -- and facing health issues -- it is time to get her priorities straight. She is ready for a new life, a new body, and a new love!

- Alana "Honey Boo Boo"

Last seen by the world as the high-energy, sugar-loving, chubby pageant girl, "Honey Boo Boo" has grown into a still hysterical pre-teen facing some nutritional challenges of her own. She will always support her Mama, and hopefully learn a bit about herself in the process!

- Lauryn "Pumpkin"

At the ripe old age of 17, Honey Boo Boo's big sister is facing weight-related health issues herself. She is always encouraging "Mama June" to find a new man and is almost old enough to be her wingman!

- Big Mike

June's lifelong friend, Mike, has an intense dislike for "Sugar Bear" and isn't afraid to say it. In fact, Mike thinks her taste in men sucks, and he would like for her to find a good man -- especially so he can retire as the family handyman!

- Doe Doe

June's loving but judgmental older sister Doe Doe is never satisfied with June's choices. She is wary of the medical dangers of plastic surgery and encourages June to think before acting impulsively.

- Amber

June's niece Amber was raised more like a sister, and she has always been seen as the "perfect one." She brings a dose of normality to this crazy clan, and buys June a sexy red dress -- 10 sizes too small -- for inspiration.

- Sugar Bear

After a turbulent relationship and breakup with June, Sugar Bear has started a new life with his very new fiancee, Jennifer. Sugar Bear wants his daughter Alana to be the flower girl at his wedding, and he wants June to be there too -- much to the dismay of his fiance.

- Jennifer

Jennifer is about to be the new Mrs. Sugar Bear! She and June do not like each other in the slightest, but neither woman will admit it's all due to jealousy. Jennifer tries to sabotage June's diet and turn Alana against her.

- Kenya Crooks

Born and raised in Seneca, SC, this drill sergeant-style trainer is a no-nonsense fitness and nutrition guru who will have his work cut out for him when it comes to Mama June. He has trained the Braxton family, Ray Leonard Jr. (son of Sugar Ray Leonard), former Pittsburgh Steeler Pro Bowler Levon Kirkland, and many more. Two larger-than-life personalities are about to collide!
