The Bachelor star Nick Viall sent Liz Sandoz, a 29-year-old doula from Las Vegas, NV, packing despite their history during Monday night's Season 21 episode on ABC.

The Bachelor broadcast began with Corinne Olympios, a 24-year-old business owner from Miami, FL, saying she was crushing "so hard" on Nick. He was all the bachelorettes were able to think about and they gushed about his genuine nature and confident attitude.

Show host Chris Harrison then met the group of ladies at the Los Angeles mansion and explained there would be two group dates coming up as well as a one-on-one date.

The first Date Card, which read "always a bridesmaid," had the following names on it: Corinne; Vanessa Grimaldi, a 29-year-old special education teacher from Montreal, Quebec, Canada; Sarah Vendal, a 26-year-old grade school teacher from Newport Beach, CA; Alexis Waters, a 23-year-old aspiring dolphin trainer from Secaucus, NJ; and Taylor Nolan, a 23-year-old mental health counselor from Seattle, WA.

The other bachelorettes picked for this date were Hailey Merkt, a 23-year-old photographer from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; Lacey Mark, a 25-year-old digital marketing manager from Manhattan, NY; Brittany Farrar, a 26-year-old travel nurse from Santa Monica, CA; Jasmine Goode, a 29-year-old pro basketball dancer from San Francisco, CA; Raven Gates, a 25-year-old fashion boutique owner from Hoxie, AR; Danielle "Lo" Lombard, a 27-year-old small business owner from Los Angeles, CA; and Elizabeth Whitelaw, a 24-year-old marketing manager from Dallas, TX.

For the date, the women were each designated a wedding dress to pose with the groom, Nick, in peculiar photo shoots.

Vanessa had to dress as an 80s bride, Alexis sported a pregnant belly as the "shotgun bride," Brittany had to go topless -- with her hair covering her breasts -- as Adam and Eve, Sarah had to pretend she eloped, Hailey posed as a biker woman, Taylor was the princess bride, and Corinne had a beach wedding in a white bikini.

Corinne was bragging to the cameras about how she got the first kiss of the season and was named first on the Date Card.

"I'm full of number ones," she boasted in a confessional.

Corinne thought she was the hottest bride until she saw Brittany's sexy leaf ensemble.

"Brittany is half naked and that's freaking me out. I feel like she looks so cute in her topless outfit. She better not steal my thunder or else I will punch her in the face," Corinne told the cameras.

During the photo shoot, Jasmine, Danielle L., Lacey, Taylor and Elizabeth all snagged a kiss with Nick, some steamier than others.

When it was Corinne's turn, she topped everyone in the group by taking her bikini top off and letting Nick hold her breasts in the pool. She felt a spark and figured Nick definitely did as well.

"My family would kill me if I did that, or I would kill myself, I will say that," Hailey noted in a confessional.

Despite the bachelorettes feeling Corinne's photo shoot looked raunchy and awkward, Corinne won the challenge and accused her competition of being jealous.

That night, each girl was afforded more alone time with the Bachelor. Corinne, of course, pulled Nick away first to kiss him, and Jasmine vented to her girlfriends about how Corinne needed to "pump the brakes," insisting that even if Nick liked that aggressive behavior in someone he dates, it's not what he's looking for in a wife.

Nick told Corinne that he liked how she took initiative and found her very beautiful. She was falling in love with the Bachelor and said her feelings were getting stronger and stronger by the minute.

"Is everything bad that I've heard about him true?" Raven asked the cameras, wondering whether Nick is the type of man she personally wants for a husband.

When Raven got some time to chat with Nick, she revealed how she had walked in on her now ex-boyfriend cheating on her with another girl. Nick confessed he had also been cheated on in the past. Nick liked how honest Raven was in every regard; he found her personality very attractive.

Meanwhile, Danielle Maltby, a 31-year-old neonatal nurse from Nashville, TN, learned she'd be accompanying Nick on the first one-on-one date of the season. Her Date Card read, "Our relationship is about to take off..."

Liz was also anticipating a discussion with Nick about having had sex in their past.

Back on the group date, Corinne interrupted Alexis' time with Nick because she didn't want to waste any opportunity to get to know Nick better. Nick said he loved Corinne's dating approach, but the other girls wondered if Nick could really appreciate a woman THAT aggressive and intense.

Corinne warned the bachelorettes that they better get used to being interrupted since that's what The Bachelor is all about. And on that note, she later interrupted Taylor's time with Nick as well to steal another kiss.

Taylor, however, had the guts to interject and resume her conversation with Nick. Corinne thought Taylor's move was a personal, rude attack against her. Corinne said she never tried to take down any bachelorette in particular by stealing Nick's time.

Corinne later confronted Taylor about whether she had a problem with her. Taylor reluctantly denied there was an issue, and Corinne mimicked her and didn't believe it. Corinne then lectured her fellow bachelorettes about putting Nick first in this environment and being willing to truly fight for his heart.

"That was some phony ass speech. I don't need her advice," Vanessa said, "especially not after today."

Much to everyone's surprise and dismay, Nick ended up giving the group date's single rose to Corinne.

"Dad would be proud. Even though I was naked, he would be proud," Corinne told the cameras.

"What if I had taken my shirt off? Would I have gotten the rose?" Lacey said in a confessional, clearly frustrated about Nick's choice.

"It makes me question if Nick is looking to just have a good time or if he's actually really serious about finding a wife," Vanessa explained.

"If Nick likes someone who is just leading with their sexuality, no wonder it's his fourth time! That's really mean, but it's true," Raven confessed to the cameras.

The following day, Nick and Danielle embarked on their one-on-one date via helicopter, and she was so excited she could barely speak. They first landed on a yacht in Newport Beach and drank champagne on the boat. Nick thought Danielle was beautiful and sweet, and he felt a level of comfort with her since she's actually from his hometown of Wisconsin. Nick felt very relaxed with her.

Meanwhile, Liz opened up to Christen Whitney, a 25-year-old wedding videographer from Tulsa, OK, about her secret, the fact she had sex with Nick at Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert's wedding. Christen promised Liz that she wouldn't say a word to anyone.

Liz revealed that she and Nick had hooked up in her own hotel room when a lot of alcohol was involved. Christen thought it was crazy Liz turned down the opportunity to give Nick her phone number. Liz was just desperate to clear the air with Nick.

Back on Danielle's date, Nick and the bachelorette enjoyed dinner. After Nick shared his two-time, runner-up The Bachelorette story with Danielle, she revealed she had been engaged yet found her fiance dead from an overdose five-and-a-half years ago. Danielle insisted she had no idea her fiance at the time was an addict.

Danielle found the man, reported to be Nick Haag, dead only about three months into their engagement. She found the story scary to tell, admitting that most men run after hearing it. Nick, however, admired Danielle even more because of her past and said she should never feel embarrassed about it.

Nick confessed to the cameras that giving Danielle a rose that night was the "easiest decision" he's made thus far in his journey in terms of handing out roses. Nick said in a confessional that Danielle has "incredible strength" he wants in a future partner. Nick said he felt connected with her "in a way more profound way than I thought I would," adding that she's "cute and endearing."

Danielle felt giddy but knew she had to pace herself in the relationship. The couple kissed and Danielle didn't want the night to end.

When the next Date Card arrived -- which read, "We need to talk..." -- the following women learned they'd be joining Nick: Christen; Liz; Kristina Schulman, a 24-year-old dental hygienist from Lexington, KY; Jaimi King, a 28-year-old chef from New Orleans, LA; Astrid Loch, a 26-year-old plastic surgery office manager from Tampa, FL; and Josephine Tutman, a 24-year-old unemployed nurse from Santa Cruz, CA.

Not all the bachelorettes were afforded a date this week.

For the date, Nick and the ladies arrived at the Museum of Broken Relationships, which is filled with relics and mementos from all different kinds of romances that have ended. Nick actually donated a rose and the engagement ring he had picked out for former The Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe.

Nick explained that Kaitlyn played "a significant part" in his life and he's thankful for it because he knows himself better and feels hope.

Each bachelorette was later instructed to perfect "the art of the break up." They each had to come up with an emotional skit, pretending to dump their boyfriend Nick.

Nick felt anxious that Liz was on the date because he didn't have a chance to be open with the other girls about their history. Christen could tell Nick felt nervous around Liz and wouldn't make eye contact with her. And Christen wasn't the only person who noticed, as Liz cried to the cameras about Nick ignoring her.

The skits turned out to be silly and playful, and Josephine even snuck in a really hard slap across Nick's face. But Liz's act flipped the mood upside-down and made Nick uncomfortable.

Liz recalled details of her actual relationship with Nick and said she avoided taking their romance to the next step because she had been hurt before, and she wished he had fought for her harder the night they parted ways at Jade and Tanner's wedding. Her message was from her heart, and Christen realized immediately that Liz was coming from a raw place and speaking about reality.

Nick didn't expect Liz to share that story in front of everyone. In fact, he seemed turned off by it and uncertain whether he wanted to continue dating Liz at all. In turn, Liz felt no validation from Nick.

Nick began wondering if Liz had divulged the story to other bachelorettes, and he didn't like feeling as if he was keeping a secret from everyone. He didn't want to get off on the wrong foot with the girls, and he intended to be upfront with the group about everything.

After Jaimi revealed to Nick that she had dated a girl in the past -- saying, "no shame in my game" -- Christen admitted to Nick that she knew about his history with Liz and how they had sex. Nick confessed that he thought they said their goodbyes for good the night of the wedding, which was Liz's choice.

Nick needed to figure out whether Liz truly wanted a shot at dating him or just found his The Bachelor stint as a way to appear on TV.

Nick finally sat down with Liz and talked about everything clouding his mind. He argued that Liz had every opportunity to try to contact him in the last several months but she didn't. Nick asked why she didn't reach out, and Liz explained she didn't like phone conversations and knew he was off filming Bachelor in Paradise.

Nick said he filmed Paradise for only a month, and it didn't take the Bachelor long to determine he didn't like what Liz had to say.

"The more I talk to Liz, the less she makes sense," Nick told the cameras.

Because of the way other relationships were developing at this point and after having two conversations with Liz, Nick decided they needed to stop dating now. Nick got the clarity he needed and said they simply don't have a future together. He wished Liz the best of luck finding love in the future.

"I feel bad... but I know it was the right choice. And now I have to do the hardest thing of all. I have to tell the women everything," Nick said in a confessional.

Nick didn't want the women to think he was lying to them, but he worried some of the ladies might quit and leave after hearing about his history with Liz. The episode concluded with Nick flat out revealing he had sex with Liz the night of Jade and Tanner's wedding.
