Kate Gosselin insists reports she abuses her children are ridiculous and false.

The Kate Plus 8 star slammed accusations she abused her son Collin and got physical with some of her other seven children at home during a Monday appearance on Good Morning America.

Collin -- one of Kate's 12-year-old sextuplets who is seeking treatment for educational and social challenges at an undisclosed location -- told the facility's staff, according to a Life & Style source, he suffered abuse at Kate's hands, which prompted Children and Youth Services to begin an official probe.

"I'm in the public eye. I have been investigated many times. It's always unfounded obviously," Gosselin, 41, said on GMA.

The magazine also claimed nannies have witnessed the mom of eight spanking her kids, especially 16-year-old twins Mady and Cara, which only allegedly scared them and made them cry more. The nanny reportedly worked for Kate when she and her ex-husband Jon Gosselin were still a couple. (The pair divorced in 2009).

When asked to clarify whether all of those reports and allegations are "unfounded," Gosselin replied, "Yes! Absolutely."

In addition to Mady, Cara and Collin, Kate is also mom to 12-year-olds Leah, Hannah, Alexis, Joel, and Aaden.

With Collin away at treatment, Jon has claimed he hasn't seen his son in a year-and-a-half and that Kate won't tell him where Collin is being held.

"We are both court ordered to not speak about the care and custody of our children in detail. I've known all along where he is. But the world doesn't know. And I'll leave it at that," Kate explained.

Jon has therefore asserted he intends to take Kate to court in order to discover his son's whereabouts.

"I've lost track of how many times he's said that. I'm really focused less on what Jon has to say. I don't really pay attention to be honest," Kate said on GMA.

Kate explained that sending Collin away for help was "not even really a choice" because she just listened to doctors' advice.

"It had to happen... It was definitely necessary, and I will go to the ends of the earth for the best for each one of them. This is the best thing I can do for him right now, and so that comforts me," Kate revealed, adding that she "definitely" has contact with Collin although "it's not the same as being home" with him.

Jon's attorney Kristen Dolvea-Lecher told ABC News, "The whole story is not being told... [Jon] is a loving and caring father who is acting within the scope of the law to do what is best for his kids."

Season 5 of Kate Plus 8 premieres Tuesday, November 22 on TLC.
