Dancing with the Stars' new season just premiered Monday night and there is already an injured contestant, country singer and actress Jana Kramer.

Kramer, who is partnered with pro Gleb Savchenko, apparently originally injured herself while performing in Monday night's show.

"I just pulled something and it continued to get worse," Jana told E! News, adding that she "tweaked it again really bad" during Tuesday's rehearsal with Gleb Savchenko the following day.

"I went to the doctor and he said I had torn some muscles in my rib cage," she continued. "He's like, 'You should probably rest and not dance,' and I said, 'That's not an option, so what else can we do?'"

Since Kramer is not taking her doctor's advice, she's going to "get shots" and "take steroids."

"I'm not going to NOT dance," she argued. "I'm not giving up on this."

Kramer and Savchenko are reportedly preparing to perform a tango to "I Don't Wanna Be" by Gavin DeGraw for the upcoming DWTS episode's "TV Week" theme, paying tribute to her role on One Tree Hill.

But Kramer's injury could set the pair back when it comes to their new routine.

"I'm worried," Savchenko admitted to E! News, "because it's one of the things that you have to be careful. The injury can hold you back, and there's a lot of things in the choreography we cannot do."

"We're going to do it though!" Kramer insisted. "We're going to do it."

"We'll figure it out," Savchenko agreed, clearly trying to please his determined celebrity partner.

On Dancing with the Stars' premiere, the couple tied for third place on the judges' leaderboard with former The Celebrity Apprentice contestant Marilu Henner and pro partner Derek Hough.

Kramer and Savchenko danced a 27-point worthy Viennese waltz, which was criticized for being too sexy.
