CBS has announced the newly-revealed Big Brother "Battle Back" twist, which will allow Season 18's first five evicted houseguests to compete to re-enter the game, will air on Friday, July 22 from 8-9PM ET/PT.

In a "survive and advance" style of competition, the first evicted houseguest -- Glenn Garcia -- will battle it out with the second evicted houseguest -- Jozea Flores -- for one spot. The loser will go home while the winner will face off against the next houseguest sent packing from Big Brother.

There will be four competition rounds total, and the last person left standing will get to re-enter the house and resume his or her chance to play for the $500,000 grand prize on Big Brother.

Big Brother regularly airs on Sundays and Wednesdays from 8-9PM ET/PT as well as Thursdays from 9-10PM ET/PT. Every Thursday night episode features a live eviction.

Big Brother's eighteenth season has many twists and turns so far, as a new competition called "Big Brother Roadkill" was also thrown into the mix, enabling an undisclosed winner to secretly cast his or her vote for one eviction nominee. If that nominee wins his or her way off the chopping block via the Power of Veto, the Roadkill winner must choose the replacement nominee instead of the Head of Household.
