James is a 29-year-old singer/songwriter from Katy, TX, who currently resides in Marietta, GA. He serenaded JoJo on Night 1 and truly became noticed on the ESPN SportsNation Group date, during which he came across very sincere and beat his fellow suitors out for the rose.

During their one-on-one date this season, James and JoJo learned how to swing dance. James also opened up about his insecurities, revealing that he was made fun of as a kid for his looks and that has affected his confidence when approaching or dating a beautiful woman like JoJo.

JoJo told James not to sell himself short because he's the whole package, and after he sang a song written just for her, JoJo cried and gave him a big kiss.
