Dancing with the Stars finalist Ginger Zee might not be able to perform in Monday night's finale due to a pelvis injury.

The Good Morning America meteorologist suffered a "lower back spasm" at home that took her "breath away," but she still continued to rehearse this past week, ABC News reported.

"By Wednesday, I went to see a physical therapist for the show, and she said my pelvis was forward and an inch off," Zee said. "I came back the next day, and [my pelvis] was backward and an inch the other way. My pelvis was just moving all over."

Zee, who has been a frontrunner in the competition all season long with pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy, therefore may not be able to take the stage for DWTS' Season 22 finals, which she has worked so hard for.

"I couldn't even do two of my dress rehearsal runs today," Zee told the DWTS cameras, according to ABC News. "Because for one, I can't even do some of the moves. I'm not allowed to."

Zee has been learning the choreography thanks to DWTS Troupe member Jenna Johnson, who has been doing the steps with Chmerkovskiy while Zee heals.

"Jenna stood in for me, and I was able to kind of watch. I'm not there. I'm not even close to where I need to be to perform," Zee noted. "My pelvis is very loose and unstable... because I just had a baby."

Zee welcomed a baby boy, Adrian, in December of last year with her husband Ben Aaron.

In footage released by Dancing with the Stars, Zee was shown crying on the floor as Chmerkovskiy attended to her injury during a rehearsal.

"I was crying not just from pain but I was more fearful and more frustrated because at this point in the competition, every single minute counts, especially for a non-dancer -- repetition is everything," she said. "It gives you confidence... and without the ability to do that, it's scary."

Zee told ABC News she'll do whatever it takes to dance Monday night or else she'll be out of the running for the mirrorball trophy. However, she won't learn whether she's capable of performing until the show begins.

"It's not like I'm taking a risk that I'm going to injure my back for the rest of my life," Zee insisted. "I'm planning to [perform], so we're going to do everything we can to rest."

Dancing with the Stars' Final 3 celebrities are Zee, America's Next Top Model winner Nyle DiMarco, and UFC fighter Paige VanZant. Zee hopes she will be dancing a contemporary routine and a freestyle during the final performance show.
