Rob Kardashian shut down his sisters when they appeared to stage an intervention over his proposal to Blac Chyna in a preview clip for the upcoming 12th season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

In the clip released by E!, Rob was shown sitting down with his older sisters Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian as they expressed frustration over the fact he blindsided them with his engagement.

The family found out Rob had popped the question to Chyna, 27, when they were vacationing in Vail, CO.

"He proposed in front of her whole family," Khloe said after the girls had returned home from the ski trip. "That's so f-cked up."

"Listen to the hostility in your voice," Rob, 29, lashed back. "That's exactly why I don't say anything. This is the first time I ever proposed to someone in my life, don't come at me with some bullsh-t."

Kim, 35, Kourtney, 37, and Khloe, 31, stared at the sock designer -- who got engaged in the first week of April after only dating Chyna for three months -- in shock.

But the family has come a long way since this tense scene filmed. Rob and Chyna hung out and snapped photos with Kim and Kylie in the last week, and more recently, Khloe posted an image on Snapchat in which she was holding hands with Rob.

A source previously told Us Weekly that Khloe was the most hurt Rob never gave a heads-up about taking his relationship to the next level because she "always stuck up for him."

"[Khloe felt] majorly betrayed by Rob," the source said, adding that his romance with the mother of Tyga's child was a "major blow to the family."

The situation was especially messy because Tyga began dating Kylie shortly after his split from Chyna, his ex-fiancee.

Rob's sisters reportedly came around and warmed up to Chyna when they realized she became his motivation for losing weight and becoming healthy again. Rob had been struggling with depression, hiding from the public and slowly gaining weight for over a year.

"Rob's rehabilitation continues to astound the family," an insider told Us. "They really believe that it's all Chyna who is responsible for bringing him back."

Season 12 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians is set to premiere Sunday, May 1 at 9PM ET/PT on E!
