The Bachelor couple Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici have deeper-rooted issues than fans have been led to believe.

In a preview clip WE tv released for Friday night's episode of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, Giudici, 29, and Lowe, 32, had an explosive argument behind closed doors that led show counselors Jim Carroll and Elizabeth Carroll to intervene.

Lowe assumed he and Giudici were alone when he was caught criticizing her on a hidden camera.

"My wife is gone. This soulless person who doesn't give a sh-t about anything is here," Lowe was overheard saying.

"You started it," Giudici replied.

The Carrolls therefore pulled the reality TV couple aside for a candid conversation in order to address their problems head-on.

"Sean and Catherine are hiding the issues they have in order to be seen as the perfect couple," Elizabeth said in a confessional. "During the drills, Sean has revealed very little of his faults, but behind closed doors, we're seeing his anger and frustration."

"It's important to sit down to figure out the root of these deceptions now before there's nothing left we can do to help their marriage," Jim told the cameras.

The fight started because Giudici had apparently been arguing with a fellow cast member and didn't feel like Lowe was supporting her. She asked her husband to leave her alone, which upset Lowe because he never wants to be pushed away in his marriage.

Lowe insisted to the Carrolls the dispute with his wife "wasn't a big deal" because Giudici had already accepted his apology, but Giudici didn't appear to be on the same page.

"We are so in need of the foundation of communication, and I can't take it," Giudici vented in a confessional.

Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars airs every Friday night at 9PM ET/PT on WE tv.
