Ben Higgins will be going where no The Bachelor star has ever gone before.

During Monday night's Bachelor Live special, host Chris Harrison revealed Higgins told two women he loved them while filming Season 20.

Higgins, although not necessarily proud of it, confessed he truly did fall head over heels for two bachelorettes. Harrison pointed out that this has never happened on the show before. Most of the time, a star doesn't even announce his or her love until the final Rose Ceremony. The declaration of love is typically followed by a proposal.

Harrison aired a preview clip of a dramatic, heart-wrenching moment yet to come on The Bachelor.

"I told two women this week that I loved them," Higgins told the cameras.

He was shown telling one woman, "Honestly, I do love you," and another bachelorette, "This is really hard for me because I've known I've been in love with you for a while as well."

A conversation between Higgins and his parents was then shown.

"I love both of them. They are too good to walk away from," the Bachelor told his parents. "I just don't know."

Afterwards, Higgins addressed the cameras again by saying, "I have to say goodbye to someone who doesn't deserve it."

Higgins was then shown closing the door to a limo as he eliminated one bachelorette.

"Saying goodbye to her doesn't feel right," the Bachelor said in tears. "This is the biggest mistake I've made. I want to keep her in my life. I don't want to say goodbye because that's how much I love her."

Once the promo ended, Harrison talked to Higgins about the situation on Bachelor Live.

"Truly, this has never happened," the host told Higgins. "You told two women you love them. And that's where you are right now."

"You know, coming into this, you don't really know what to expect. And if you have expectations, I think often times, they'll have to be throughout the season. And I did. I did fall in love with two women during [it]. I didn't think I could, but I really tried to concentrate and make each relationship its own and stay open to the process. And as a result, this is where it's left us," Higgins explained.

"This season is already good," Harrison told the studio audience, "but it's about to get unbelievable as we head down the homestretch."
