Fox has announced how the rest of Idol's currently-airing season will play out -- all the way up to its farewell finale.

The rest of Idol's open auditions, Hollywood Week and episodes featuring performances from the season's Top 24 semifinalists will air regularly on Wednesday nights from 8-9PM ET/PT and Thursday nights from 8-10PM ET/PT on Fox.

The show's remaining audition episodes -- filmed in Atlanta, GA; Denver, CO; Little Rock, AR; Philadelphia, PA; and San Francisco, CA -- will air Wednesday, January 20 and conclude on Thursday, January 21.

Hollywood Week is set to begin Wednesday, January 27, when the nation's most talented singers will perform again for judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. The round will continue Thursday, January 28 and Wednesday, February 3.

According to the network, the "best of the best" will advance to the "Showcase" round, where each contestant will take the stage for "The Final Judgement" on Thursday, February 4, when America's Top 24 semifinalists will also be revealed.

The Top 24 semifinalists -- under the guidance of former Idol contestants and winners, some of whom will also sing with the contestants -- will perform Wednesday, February 10; Thursday, February 11; Wednesday, February 17; and Thursday, February 18.

By the Wednesday, February 24 episode, only 14 contestants will remain. The Top 10 finalists will officially be revealed and perform for home viewer votes the following night on Thursday, February 25 from 8-10PM ET/PT.

Starting Thursday, March 3, American Idol will air only one broadcast per week on Thursday nights from 8-10PM ET/PT until Grand Finale Week.

The Grand Finale Week will switch things up again, as it will kick off Tuesday, April 5 from 8-9PM ET/PT with a retrospective episode in which host Ryan Seacrest, current and former judges and contestants, and the behind-the-scenes team will take a trip down memory lane and share their favorite memories.

On Wednesday, April 6 from 8-9PM ET/PT, the remaining finalists will battle it out live from the Dolby Theatre for the shot to becoming the next "American Idol."

A winner will then be named on Thursday, April 7 during an 8-10PM ET/PT broadcast on Fox. The finale episode, which will serve as a tribute to everyone who has been involved with or watched Idol all these years, will likely be an emotional ending to an incredible 15-season franchise.
