The Biggest Loser is saying goodbye to its beloved longtime host.

The Biggest Loser producers announced Alison Sweeney's exit in a Tuesday statement obtained by Access Hollywood.

"After an incredible run together, Alison Sweeney will not be returning as host of The Biggest Loser next season," the statement read.

Sweeney joined the reality weight-loss competition eight years ago back in 2007 for the NBC show's fourth season.

The Biggest Loser named Toma Dobrosavljevic its sixteenth-season champion in January 2015.

Production on The Biggest Loser's upcoming seventeenth season begins next month.
