So You Think You Can Dance cut Eddie "Neptune" Eskridge, a 25-year-old from Dallas, TX, and Derek Piquette, an 18-year-old from Chicopee, MA, from the competition.

Based on America's vote from last week, two Stage dancers and two Street dancers were in danger of elimination.

SYTYCD host Cat Deeley revealed the Street dancers led by Stephen "tWitch" Boss had pulled in 52% of the votes compared to the 48% of votes the Stage dancers led by Travis Wall had received.

The Street dancers in the bottom four were Neptune and Megan "Megz" Alfonso, a 28-year-old from Long Island, NY. The two Stage dancers who were in jeopardy were Derek and Hailee Payne, a 20-year-old from Roy, UT.

There was no "Instant Save" this week and SYTYCD judges Nigel Lythgoe, Jason Derulo and Paula Abdul also had no say in the eliminations. The results were entirely decided upon by home viewers.

Last night's show featured the Top 8 contestants performing solos in addition to a routine with their teams and a SYTYCD all-star.
