Tuesday night's episode had featured the season's second group of 12 quarterfinalist acts performing for home viewer votes.

Uzeyer Novruzov, Arielle Baril, The Craig Lewis Band, Sharon Irving, and Derek Hughes were revealed to have finished as the Top 5 votegetters following Tuesday night's performance show, automatically earning them a spot in America's Got Talent's tenth-season semifinals.

America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon also revealed last night that Damone Rippy, DM Nation, Animation Crew and Myq Kaplan had received the four lowest home viewer vote totals and would not be advancing to the semifinals.

That left three remaining acts -- Ira, 3 Shades of Blue and Freckled Sky -- to compete to be saved by either home viewers or America's Got Talent's judges.

After about 30 minutes of Twitter voting, Cannon revealed home viewers had voted to advance Ira, leaving 3 Shades of Blue and Freckled Sky to compete for the judges' save.

America's Got Talent judges Melanie "Mel B" Brown, Howie Mandel, and Howard Stern all voted for 3 Shades of Blue -- rendering Heidi Klum's vote moot and advancing the boy band to the semifinals.
