So You Think You Can Dance eliminated one Stage dancer and one Street dancer, which determined the twelfth season's Top 8 contestants, during Monday night's Fox broadcast.

So You Think You Can Dance cut Jessica "JJ" Rabone, a 29-year-old from Kawasaki, Japan, and Edson Juarez, a 24-year-old from Mission, TX, from the competition.

JJ damaged her ribs and couldn't perform last night, so if she ended up surviving the cut, she'd automatically be in danger of going home next week along with the lowest vote getter.

Based on America's vote from last week, two Stage dancers and two Street dancers were in danger of elimination.

SYTYCD host Cat Deeley revealed the Street dancers led by Stephen "tWitch" Boss had pulled in 51% of the votes compared to the 49% of votes the Stage dancers led by Travis Wall had received.

The Street dancers in the bottom four were JJ and Megan "Megz" Alfonso, a 28-year-old from Long Island, NY. The two Stage dancers who were in jeopardy were Edson and Derek Piquette, an 18-year-old from Chicopee, MA.

There was no "Instant Save" this week and SYTYCD judges Nigel Lythgoe, Jason Derulo and Paula Abdul also had no say in the eliminations. The results were entirely decided upon by home viewers.

Last night's show featured the Top 10 contestants performing solos in addition to a routine with a SYTYCD all-star.
