So You Think You Can Dance eliminated two dancers -- one Stage dancer and one Street dancer -- which determined the twelfth season's Top 18 contestants during Monday night's Fox broadcast.

So You Think You Can Dance cut Liliana "Lily" Frias, a 23-year-old from Durango, Mexico, and Darion Flores, a 19-year-old from Hartford, CT, from the competition.

Based on America's vote from last week, three Stage dancers and three Street dancers were in danger of elimination. SYTYCD host Cat Deeley revealed the Street dancers had pulled in 46% of the votes compared to the 54% of votes the Stage dancers had received.

The Street dancers were Lily; Ariana Crowder, a 22-year-old from Somerset, NJ; and Eddie "Neptune" Eskridge, a 25-year-old from Dallas, TX.

The three Stage dancers who were in jeopardy were Darion; Derek Piquette, an 18-year-old from Chicopee, MA; and Moises Parra, an 18-year-old from Garden Grove, CA.

Home viewers could then tweet to save two of the contestants -- one from Team Stage and one from Team Street. America tweeted to save Neptune and Moises.

The results left SYTYCD judges Nigel Lythgoe, Jason Derulo and Paula Abdul with the task of deciding which two of the remaining four dancers they'd like to keep and see advance in the competition. The judges opted to save Derek and Ariana. They therefore said goodbye to Darion and Lily.

Last night's show featured the Top 20 contestants performing in pairs or trios for home viewer votes. The dancers performed in random genres, so many of the hopefuls danced in a style completely foreign to them.

Darion, Hailee Payne and Yorelis Apolinario danced the salsa. Ariana and Derek performed a jazz routine. Alexia Meyer, Megan "Megz" Alfonso and Virgil Gadson took the stage with a contemporary dance. Lily, Burim "B1" Jusufi and Gaby Diaz danced Bollywood.

Neptune, Kate Harpootlian and Asaf Gorden performed Broadway. Jim Nowakowski and Jana "Jaja" Vankova danced hip-hop. Moises, Jessica "JJ" Rabone and Marissa Milele took the stage with a jazz routine.

So You Think You Can Dance will air a special broadcast Tuesday night at 8PM ET/PT on Fox to celebrate the show's last decade and tenth anniversary.
